Hilton Garden Inn Irvine East/Lake Forest

The Staff was excellent

The cleanliness of the rooms was not as satisfying as I would’ve expected it being that I am a Hilton Gardens, member, and the price that I paid for the night that I stayed was too elevated for the cleanliness, the toiletries and the actual smell from the room was very elevated for the quality that I received. I know that the rooms were in process of being remodeled, but it lacked cleanliness and lighting . Honestly, I feel that I was robbed. I don’t feel that I receive the proper hospitality that I would when I’ve stayed in numerous Hilton Gardens suites as a matter fact, I found it a bit degrading that I recently stayed at Hilton Gardens in Mexico and there amenities and the cleanliness of the rooms were a lot better than here

I liked my clean comfortable room at this hotel. The room was spacious with a large desk, sofa, comfortable bed, microwave and mini-fridge. There is a restaurant downstairs which is very handy, and there is a small pool and jacuzzi. The only problem I observed was some black mold in the shower.

Location and front area were nice

They had a flood and all the rooms around mine were being dried out. Loud fans and workers. It smelled very damp and moldy. The AC unit was stuck on and couldn’t be adjusted. Carpet and window shade were damaged and dirty. I thought the $18.95 breakfast as the only option was not good.

We were put on the 3rd floor, upon exiting the elevators saw the ice machine was out of order. Then walking down the hallway there was a weird smell and lots of floor air blowers going looks like they had a major water leak. They were a bit noisy as well. The ac in the room was a bit wonky and didn’t seem to cycle right got extremes of hot and cold and could never get it out just maintain a comfortable level. The fridge in room didn’t hardly get cold. Over all would probably select a different hotel next time. The young lady we checked in with on Saturday night was very friendly and handled the system being down like a champ. Very professional and friendly. The check in system was down so couldn’t check in officially but she was able to work around that.

Horrible condition, need was broke, blinds didn't work and carpet needs to be replaced

Easy check in, friendly, room was nice Dropped off keys when I left at the front desk and walked out after she checked me out with ease
