The food was amazing and super choice!

Lovely sunny spacious hotel room and large bathroom, gorgeous pool area and plenty of deck chairs and sun umbrellas. Pool bar was fun and the gym was also well equipped. Gardens were well kept and the Adult Only vibe was just what we wanted.

Our bedroom was positioned close to refuse bins nearby emptied daily and the stage for nightly entertainment was also just in front of us so was not a quiet restful room in spite of requesting a quiet room. However, we were called several times to ask if we were happy and perhaps we could have moved rooms had we alerted reception. Because we were only there for 5 nights we put up with it but if I went back I would try for a room with a sea view.

The room was very comfortable and clean. Great air-conditioning! The staff were generally very helpful and friendly. The food in the buffet restaurant (breakfast and dinner) was excellent. The hotel setting was amazing and so close to the beach if you could drag yourself away from the pool! Evening entrainment was good.

Considering how much we paid for the room (which was at least twice more than we'd normally pay for a 'top of the range' room), we were very disappointed to be told on arrival that we could only eat in the buffet restaurant and that we'd get only a 10% discount in the other hotel restaurants. There were never enough sunbeds around the pool and people were getting up early to reserve them. We had to ask each day for additional milk sachets in the room the room as they weren't automatically replenished. Late checkouts weren't available, so we were given access to a courtesy room in the basement that was a little basic and unsavory. The online details about what's included with the top price room weren't clear at all.

The pool and facilities were amazing. The breakfast and lunch options were great. The staff were helpful and friendly.

The evening buffet was a bit random and not as high quality as the bistro lunch, (e.g strange noodle paella and prawns that hadn’t had vein removed). It’s a shame it’s so far from the airport too (expensive taxi). Could a cheaper transfer bus be laid on by the hotel?

Massive bed and nice pool are with lots of sunbeds.

Rooms were a bit bland and dated. The garden suite was a sun bed in a sad muddy and shaded area and the view was messy. It wasn't on the beach. There are other Viva resorts with sea views and closer to the sand. The architecture of all the accommodation on the beach is concrete and boring which detracts from the beach.
