GBI have been going to Miri Marriott for almost a decade & still like the pool & bar
The property is starting to look run down & also looked like a staff shortage in particular at breakfast. I always loved breakfast at Miri Marriott but in this occasion we had to wait for tables to be made up on both mornings for a long time & limited food and juices not topped back up in good time both mornings. I will think twice on my next booking for Miri whether to stay at Marriott based on what you get for the price!

The property is in need of a renovation. Communication wasn’t easy in advance - they sent a message about additional taxes and didn’t respond to our need for clarification for days, until just about the cancellation deadline.

Check in experience, too long to wait. 30 mins to wait to get room key, got our key and arrived at our room, room was not ready as the cleaning service just started to clean, bad coordination between frontdesk and cleaning service!!! We have to wait another 1hr inside the room while they're cleaning Water turns black while showering!!
