"Poor sleep, unhelpful front desk, didn’t like that we booked with booking.com."

By the highway so easy to find.

The front desk was unhelpful and did not respect the booking.com requests that had been confirmed to me. They didn’t even receive my requests for a pet friendly room ground floor room and the pet cost wasn’t included as the booking confirmation had said. Also they didn’t include breakfast in the booking.com booking and the breakfast charge was 8.99$. Breaky was not hot and didn’t include what the hotel front desk menu said it would. ** also the windows on the ground floor don’t lock!! There was simply a stick in the rails to prevent someone from being able to open it from the outside but with that “security” it still could be jimmied open a foot. Very sketchy and led to very poor sleep.

"Awesome stay in Castlegar"

Twas an awesome stay! Room was updated, service was incredibly great. Would like to mention Marie at the front desk who was so amazing. We re able to stay for free, didnt know i had points on my rsvp. Took only few mins! Checkin was fast and were assisted very well. Kids love the stay! Will be back next time in summer.

"Outside of hotel is rough, inside was okay."

Price was great and location was what we needed.

When we booked it through Booking it showed free breakfast and we booked for 5 people. When we got to the hotel, we were told it was only for 3 people and we found out when we showed up for breakfast that our rate didn't give us breakfast vouchers. We felt like Booking scammed us and other people who booked like us were in the same situation. No breakfast vouchers from booking. The outside of the hotel looks like a prison and is in bad disrepair. All of the rooms surround an odd, indoor pool.

"Good rest, would have been nice to have a decompress with a hot hot tub."

The staff were friendly. They were fully booked due to the BC Games, but thankfully we were in a room where it was quiet.

The hot tub wasn't very hot and the jets didn't work.
