Beautiful location by the cliffs where you can snorkel, peaceful, great views from all the rooms. Staff is available and accomdating. The room was nice and spacious. highly recommend it ! Would love to go back!

Beautiful sea view from any room. Relaxing and quiet. Very friendly staff who have been there a long time - nice to be remembered each year! Great food. Peaceful getaway but close to town and beach.

Beautiful location. Beautiful sunsets Lovely two story buildings : with pretty Jamaican charm and architecture and nicely landscaped Quiet cute room with porch/terraces and ocean views. Grounds are well manicured with all the lounge chairs and hammocks Lots of private areas and tanning on cliffs edge. Lovely pool!! ❤️❤️❤️

Great location on the cliffs. Staff are awesome! The owner, Charlie was there during our stay and he made us feel so welcome and comfortable. He and Tina (from the front desk) did everything to accommodate us when we kept adding extra nights to stay. Would like to see continuing updates to the rooms as this property is awesome! Only downside was the noisy property across the street.

Properity was cleab, room was clean, cold AC, great beach views, nice pool, food was ok. The cook however her attitude was not pleasing, in the manner she answered when she arrived with the room service meal and i ask if room service was free/ was it included in the cost of the room, she answered in a rude manner, its was my first time there i didnt know how there room service worked so i ask, her attitude sucks, i will not return just because of her, all it takes to ruin your trip is one person with a bad attitude. We were going to have breakfast in the morning and my husband said no, he was turned off by that one staff member who was rude when answering a simple question

The location of Home Sweet Home is great, and the rooms and grounds are beautiful! We loved jumping from the cliffs and sunbathing. I would highly recommend staying here for the price and the incredible view! There are only a couple of negative things that I have to say. One is that our room was very dark when we arrived. The security guard tried to help us figure out what the problem was with the light, but with no success. In the morning, from another perspective, I could see that the light fixture on the ceiling fan had a massive hole in it and there was no light bulb. The other negative was that very little was left to order in terms of breakfast. We were told by the kitchen staff what they had no fruit left, no pancakes and that they could offer us two juices, but not a third for our son. We ended up going somewhere else to eat.

Enjoyed my stay at Home Sweet Home. Great views and staff. Wish we could have stayed longer!!!

I selected this hotel since the pictures on the web site are beautiful and total score is 7.8. When we arrived there the views in the hotel is indeed beautiful. The checking in process is also good. The front desk stuff recommended a restaurant on the beach for our lunch. The hotel charged us $5/each person (one way) to go to beach which is a 5 minutes’ drive. If you have 4 people, you will pay $40 for a round trip to beach which is only 5 minutes away. The restaurant they recommended made worst food ever in my trip in Jamaica. The restaurant charged me 13% tax and 6% service charge. Most restaurants don’t charge tax separately. The 6% service charge is for the kitchen but not the waiter. We had to pay another 15% tip to the waiter. I don't understand why they recommend this poor restaurant for me The hotel is on a busy road near west end. There is no sidewalk. It is dangerous if you want to walk around. The toilet has stain. The curtain does not cover the window completely. The refrigerator smells bad. The bathroom is terribly stinky. The worst part is the big noise. There is a bar just cross the road and the loud music didn't end until 1:30 AM. No front desk at night. I talked to the hotel safe guard about the noise. He just kept on telling me that the noise would stop at 12:00 Am. At 1:00AM the noise was still there and load. We stayed at 4 hotels in Jamaica for 7 days. I have to say this hotel is worse one.

This is a great find as long as you are ok with older construction. Wrap around porch over the rock cliffs provided the best ocean view and sunsets that I've ever seen in my life. The penthouse room was spacious, bed firm and comfortable. We had A/C and wifi. Water pressure is very low. One of only 3 Scooter rental places right next door. Nicely located between the 7 mile beach strip and the bars and restaurants on the cliffs.Tina the manager was always there for anything we needed including giving us snorkel gear to climb down the ladder below our room and snorkel right from there. I will def stay again.

We consider the Penthouse the finest real estate on the west end of Negril. However, the hotel has gotten way more rundown. Where we enjoyed hanging out on the expansive terrace during our first stay, this time, we were anxious about its structural integrity. During a wind and rain storm, it appeared the whole thing could fall into the ocean. Some of it already has.
