Hotel Casa Azul Jardín

Close to the town square but still on very edge of city. Quiet with nature

Location is quiet on the edge of town, and within easy walking distance of all restaurants and attractions. Clean, with comfortable bed and excellent shower. The breakfast of eggs, toast, coffee, and fresh juice was a nice touch -- we ate on the balcony with fine view of the valley, woodpeckers doing their thing, and a man down the street working on his horse's horseshoes. We were able to extend our checkout time for a small fee.

Oddly this place does not show up on Google Maps, but it's located right at the "Garrucha" cable car. If you don't have a Colombia bank account, payment was a bit convoluted, requiring a Paypal account.

A good location with a lovely veranda to sit on, overlooking the valley with lots of birds. Great staff, so friendly and helpful.

The breakfast and the coffee were great.

Could have provided more bottled water.

Really helpful young lad on reception - brought me tea in the evening. Nice balcony for breakfast, good WiFi throughout. Big bed (albeit damp due to shower set up). Quiet location with easy access to walks in the area and the cable car is next door.

We were in the room directly opposite the reception desk. All felt a bit close. Not much soundproofing. As mentioned in other reviews the shower in our room could do with being separated from the room in some way. The room gets as hot, wet and steamy as the shower leaving everything damp. Like many bathrooms in Columbia there is no fan and opening the window was not enough. The shower spills out on to the floor and while there are wooden slats to stand on, they too are wet. Lack of bathmat was very noticeable.

Fantastic views all over. Easy access to La Garrucha Cable Car for scenic visits and spectacular views all over. Staff extremely helpful and not to mention delicious breakfast on roof top.

the service was amazing! SO hospitable and nice. Mauricio was always available to open the door for us at night. the breakfast on the balcony was lovely. The location is close enough to the plaza but still away from the noise. mornings could get loud because La Garrucha literally next to it. I would recommend for a night or two. The shower is probably one of the best showers in a hotel, perfect temperature and water pressure and very modern.

This was a last-minute booking as we decided to stay in Jardin an extra night- and we are so glad that we chose Casa Azula Garrucha. The view from the balcony was beautiful and the accommodation was so clean and comfortable. Mauricio was really helpful and accommodating by giving us an early breakfast. Thank you so much!
