Silver Seas Hotel

Breakfast: nothing great ti speak about. However the location within the city limits is great. Surrounding properties negative impact. Need some cosmetic face-lift. Front desk/security is lacking energy and enthusiasm. Lobby area dull and unattractive that gives a cheap sense of feeling.

The operation was more of a motel than a hotel.

I like the hotel, the staff was nice, local food shops. Just needs to be remodel. N update everything.

The staff gave very good customer service and the location itself is great as many of the party boats and motorized ocean activities past by making it a lively area. It is close to the town and the sea. The room we got was large and spacious and the furnishing were nice and durible wicker, wood and metal style.

The light went and the power company had not brought it back by the evening of the next day and the weather was very hot. The hotel did not appear to own a generator. The place is in an ideal location but needs a lot of maintaince as the pool was out of service and their were old furnishing in the lobby and cracks in the pavements of the walkway. This made the hotel not representative of what is being advertised online. I believe the staff are doing their best but the owners need to do some work to improve the property. It's a diamond in the rough.

Just the host ,she showed us the rooms n informed us of the pool n the internet issue

Everything ,the website shows pool but then when you get there,there's no pool its dried out ,we had call prior before going, to inquiry about the tv as we saw small tv and was advise its smart tv that will be there,when we get there ,there's no smart tv ,also the internet is a big turn off as thats what majority of persons use on there vacation and we were told the internet doesnt work too well in the rooms only in the lobby area and then the place is run down it needs some updating overall

I did not take any meal at the facility.

Our first room was leaking so, we had to change room. The sheets were tiny we had to decide who will use the sheet under the blanket. The chairs were horrible and hard. 2 of the chairs were broken. While the views were great, there was no privacy. I could hear the tenants on either side of me so, I know the heard me too. The bathroom next door was very loud and you could hear the workers speaking outside as if they were inside with you. There were 2 doors on either sides of the balcony,. Although they were shut from our side one only had a security entry latch so, the petson actually opened it and peeked out so, we had to keep our curtains drawn at all times for privacy, which caused us not to enjoy the views from inside. There was thos unkempt looking man that was almost always sitting on the sofa downstairs watching. It makes me uncomfortable. We had to pay him to get a fridge in our room. I asked fir an extra Rowell for the beach and he said no, use one from yout room. While we were out someone took the other towel and bath mat. When we got back from the beach we had to put on our clothes over wet bodies after we showered because we were only given 2 towels the day we arrived. There were no hand towels or wash rags. (We were also given 1 small toilet paper for 2 adults for 7 days). We stayed on the balcony until we were dry and went for dinner. On our return, one of the housekeeper (nice lady) came to the door and replaced the towel and bath mat and brought toilet paper which I has requested. I had to convince her to leave us with 2 rolls. The hotel overall has fallen into disrepair and meet upgraded. The television was just a little wider than a laptop. I wear glasses and could not focus on the tiny screen from the bed. My fiancé had to sit about 5 - 6 feet from it and lean back to look up to see it. The room had very few plugs. I could not plug the refrigerator, laptop and 2 cellular phones to charge at the same time. The ceiling light was out.

The building looks old and dilapidated. The room looks old and tattered. The faucet and tub is old with rust marks and busted handles. The cover on the bed smelled funky. I was really disappointed with the aesthetic.
