The hotel seems to have just undergone a rebrand into the Hilton brand. The staff didn’t understand the levels of being an H Honors member, and the WiFi hadn’t been converted to the normal Hilton connection. The price was right and the place was fresh. The breakfast area only had continental type breakfast items so we didn’t partake in those. I had to ask for waters and explain that it was part of the Hilton program. Our room was clean. The grounds were very nice and the location is quiet.

The "average" rating is because of the type of hotel it is, not because there was anything wrong. This is a fairly basic hotel, which is consistent with its brand. The owners have tried to add some nice touches, and I appreciate their efforts. The hotel is very clean, which really was my main criterion in choosing it. It's very conveniently located, and as a solo traveler I felt both the hotel and the area were safe. I wish the hotel had suites as a room choice, because I prefer a bit more space. But otherwise the hotel met my expectations and I would have no qualms about going back.

This hotel rates 3-3.5 stars which is completely appropriate. I stayed here one night recently in the middle of a longer drive on I-95 and the hotel was clean, functional, and convenient. It is a two-star hotel with two-star amenities (e.g. the waterproof shower curtain was missing) but in the surprisingly rural-ish stretch from New Haven to New London this hotel this hotel met my needs. Note rooms on the street side will have some road noise in the morning.

Tip: get a room on the back side facing the woods for a quieter night. But the roadside didn't seem too loud. Breakfast is okay, but many restaurants are close by including Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts. Room was clean, bathroom was up to date. Front desk woman helped us with the printer jam in the business center.

This hotel has really come down in the last year. Rooms are unkept, pot parties in the neighboring room, lowlifes in the parking lot at night. We're never staying here again. Hmm...TripAdvisor requires this review must be 200 characters long.

Paid for king bed with sleeper sofa. Sleeper sofa had no blankets or pillows and front desk would not provide any. So I paid for a room that sleeps 3-4 people but had to go out and buy pillows and blankets for $30 at Family Dollar for my kids. Linens that WERE in room that were folded and waiting to be used had long hair on them. We bring disinfectant wipes with us just in case and after cleaning the coffee table to eat on and move out of the way of the sleeper sofa unfolding, the coffee table sides were STICKY. Even after cleaning off with wipes. The worst part was the fixtures in the bathroom are rusted, the exhaust fan is full of dust which makes it not function and every corner in the bathroom at ceiling has well-established MOLD growths. This room is NOT getting cleaned on a regular basis and the basic necessary cleaning tasks are NOT getting done every week. The mold in the bathroom is in very large groups, in strips of over a foot long. A cleaning staff member has not even looked at the bathroom walls in weeks or months at the time of writing this review. At breakfast there was some choices like wet scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal, muffins, bagels, and yogurt but both waffle makers were broken.

My husband and I stayed here one night on our way to Boston because they have a Tesla charger. We didn't expect much and were pleasantly surprised with the hotel and the town. The room was clean and comfortable. There were a few places to eat at walking distance. We bought dinner and ate in the room's dinning table. We'll definitely come back here when we go back to New England.

Large, quite rooms. Beds are comfortable. Good wifi. Has microwave and mini fridge. Friendly employees. Nice location right off the interstate. Nice variety for breakfast. Lots of restaurants in the area.

Well maintained and very clean ! Would definitely recommend to all! Quite and bathroom had everything working in order! My choice would be first floor,easy access to coffee and breakfast. As far as breakfast, not bad, good assortment and hot items were hot.
