I booked this hotel sight unseen, never read a review as I usually do BUT it was a great experience overall. It’s close to 95 but I couldn’t hear the highway. The people were VERY nice, the grounds are clean and professionally landscaped. It was inexpensive and SUPER CLEAN! I travel fairly frequently and in the last 3 years, it’s the cleanest place I’ve stayed in. No fooling. The towels were wrapped in plastic, no dirt in the corners. The breakfast was even nicer than what you usually see in a lower priced hotel. Solomon and staff do it right. There’s also a good diner, right across the street.

I stayed at the Comfort Inn for busness during a week...I really recomend this hotel...Mr. Solomon is great and super proffesional.Because of that I will recomend this hotel to all my friends and I will tell the Company I work for,American Cruise Lines,..so thet can keep you for future businesses...thanks Solomon.

I am currently staying here on a business trip related to American cruise lines I was amazed by the wonderful welcome by the front desk staff by the name of Ricky . I felt comfortable and welcomed . Every morning and occasionally throughout the day we exchange greetings and this is astounding the small amount of time we see each other and the small effort it takes to make a guest feel at home ! I am delighted and overwhelmed with how much happier I am by the time Ricky took to make me feel so welcomed !! Keep it up

Clean and comfortable Comfort Inn. Fairly typical. We had trouble finding a hotel in Guilford so settled here although the room wasn’t the type we liked. Bed could be better, nice size fridge, smaller TV but adequate. Variable shower head did not actually vary. Decent outlets and lightings. You’re able to connect your own streaming devices. No pool. No guest laundry. Fairly typical breakfast. Our room was close to the elevator and the sound from the elevator call button was disturbing. Kudos for servicing room during the stay.

As a strict (but fair!) reviewer I was a little worried about this place after seeing many negative reviews. But I can happily report that Comfort Inn is a clean and comfortable motel. Though it’s a corporate joint (on par with Marriott’s Residence Inns), it was still a welcome haven. The rooms have large (for hotels) fridges and microwaves. Beds and pillows are reasonably comfy. Shower, clean towels, a/c etc were all fine. So what if the elevator is a little slow? Breakfast was a half-notch above the usual Covid brown bags, with fresh yogurt and microwave-able Betty Crocker egg sandwiches. Still better, though, to bring your own food or eat out. In all, a fine, reasonably priced place in an area full of expensive (and often disappointing) inns.

Had a reservation for the Hampton Inn, but cancelled that because this was more reasonably priced and the reviews were good. Was here for a one night getaway, so that my wife could do some shopping at the Clinton Crossings Outlet Mall, and elsewhere. We were not disappointed. The room was nice Check in was easy, and there were NO bedbugs, as one review stated. It was centrally located, and we found no issues with the room. Definitely would stay here again. Oh, btw, they have coffee available 24 hours in the lobby, and offer a free brown bag breakfast due to the pandemic.

This place is CRAWLING with bed bugs! Do NOT stay! We are still paying for it after staying there! We are covered in bites! They didn’t even reimburse us like they said they would! Terrible service and terrible rooms!

The Comfort Inn at Guilford has a good location (near I-95 exit and near Guilford town center). The inside feels newer than a typical Comfort Inn. The breakfast area looks nice and hot breakfast of course. The receptions are attentive, e.g. Solomon, which makes the stay more enjoyable.

Talk about a five star motel. We just spent a night at the Comfort Inn in Guilford, CT. Cleaner than Mr Clean - Courteous receptionist and staff. A snack area that even has flavored coffee. Treats and beverages free 24 hours! I must rave about the wonderful bed. Better than my mattress at home. Beautiful bathroom and nice white clean linens. Will absolutely return. Did I mention the rates are the best.

Stayed here for a wedding in nearby town--had trouble calling for reservation-phone continually rang--no answer---2 hours later with no answer, I called the following day---$320 per night--yikes--I though I called a hotel in NYC instead of suburban New Haven--lousy breakfast--had to tell the front desk clerk, scrambled eggs were empty, and bagels were not available. 10 minutes later he came back with eggs. Room 220 has carpet stain. probably someone's DNA
