This is the worst hotel in Miami. You can check the Marriott website and find similar 1-star ratings. I have Platinum Status with Marriott, this is the third time at the Cadillac, and each of the three times its gone from bad, awful, to pathetic. We were giving an "upgrade" to a smaller room. Our initial reservation was for a two queen room, 350sqft room. The check in team gave us an "upgrade" to a room that was two queen beds, but 160sq ft room. When we called them out for the "downgrade" they said they were booked and couldn't accommodate our reservation and wouldn't refund our stay. On top of this there is a hotel construction that goes from 8am - 5pm, everyday, the entire week. The hotel construction is not listed on the website and the jack hammering causes massive headaches. There is no water pressure, even on the third floor. The wait and towel staff at the pool even complain about how bad the management is and how they are understaffed and don't get to take breaks. I guess it is really bad when your "hospitality" team is bad mouthing the hotel. Recommendation is to stay next door at the more lavish HUD apartments.

Very slow process of checking in… this is ridiculous I’ve seen a lot of people checking in but we’re still waiting been here since 11:30 in sane. This will be our first and last time here.

Bartender Jen at the lobby bar was incredible.

Battery on my entry door died every day and I continually had to go back-and-forth to the front desk to get maintenance to come let me in my room. One of the elevators was broken so to top it all off I had to walk up and down a flight of stairs if I didn’t wanna wait 15 to 20 minutes when we got there the first night our room was not available until after midnight. Staff at the front desk we’re very rude and although I’m not sure who’s problem it was the lobby was full of upset clients and they weren’t making it any better .

Nice pool area, perfect proximity to the beach, beach bar service was fantastic.

The night we arrived our room was not available until 12:30 PM. Manager was very rude. Lobby was full of people with the same situation. As for a late checkout following day in the most they could accommodate was 12 PM. Second elevator was broken the entire time we were there so you had to wait 10 minutes or more for an elevator every time you need to go back up to the room.

Worst experience ever. Do not stay here. Arranged and paid for a late night arrival but still had to wait over an hour in the lobby, til 2am (!) to get into our room after a long day of travel. The next night after dinner, our key cards didn’t work because the battery on the door lock was dead. Waited 20 mins in the lobby for help getting it fixed and into our room. Which by the way was sub par, despite booking a tower beachfront balcony room and having Bonvoy status. They put us on a lower level, right over the pool, to guarantee lots of noise. We asked for a higher floor but of course their answer was no. Only one chair in the room although there was plenty of room for two chairs. No table on the balcony to set your morning coffee on. Bathtub with a cheap shower curtain instead of a walk in shower. Ice maker on the floor was broken. Pool staff sent us to the beach for towels, beach staff sent us back to the pool staff. Whatever. A sad excuse for a hotel. Unfortunate because it’s in a great spot and the grounds are quite lovely. Shout out to the awesome beachside and poolside servers. But this hotel does not have it together. This was our first visit to Miami and I trust other hotels here are better. We will not come back to this one.

Staff is very attentive and professional, grounds and pool area are very well kept. Adult only pool area is very peaceful and quiet, water was very warm..great late afternoon evening hangout spot. Main pool is less warm and very refreshing. Buffet Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were very nice.

As a titanium member arrived at 10am and they said they would email me when the room was ready, we hung around the bar till 3.30 and went to sign for it and the person said oh the room is ready .I went to the room it was nice an 05 room. next to lifts. what a horrific noise all night a whirring sound that I could hear over the tv. so asked to change and was told they would next day. well it didn't happen. so at 2 am after being woken by the lifts, I looked t my account and had a 102us on the bill I called down to the front desk ,well they never ever answer so I called the concierge and told him it was not mine and to take it off. I checked the bill at front desk and the amount had been removed 4 days later it came on my amex account I wrote to them 3 times and have never ever received a reply; I asked for a copy of my signature and a picture of me dining as I am sure they have video surveillance everywhere -no reply. do not accept any rooms with a 05 at the end. also I could hear clear conversations when people were at the lifts as there was a big gap under the door.
