Hilton Garden Inn Ft. Lauderdale Airport-Cruise Port

The only hotel with a 24 hour shuttle to airport. We were pleased with our stay. The hotel has a high turnover /occupancy rate due to the cruise ships. The staff was exceptional at helping people with all sorts of matters. The hotel is older, needs some cosmetic work, had to take a pure hot water shower, conditioner bottle was empty,had to request more than 2 bath towels, no towels were at the pool (busy). The location was amazing with a safe vibrant shopping / dining area within walking distance. Also close to the airports. Would recommend for a short stay. No safes in rooms.

Renovated since my last stay a few years ago, the hotel is still a good choice if visiting the area. It's in a great location just of the I-95 and walking distance to many shops and restaurants at Dania Pointe including a big Nike store. The lobby is now very open plan and welcoming, the check-in desk has been completed re-done, perhaps a little too open plan from a staff point of view. Allocated a room on the 6th floor which was nicely decorated and with plenty of space and bright. The bed was clean and very comfortable. Note that housekeeping is now every other day of your stay. The bathroom was standard Hilton Garden Inn, you could be anywhere ! The fixtures in the bathroom was already a little worn and in need of some TLC but perfectly usable. Plenty of towels and lots of counter space. There was a fridge for your sodas and water, coffee machine, microwave and an ice machine by the elevators. Parking is now $10 per night so remember to display your permit on the dash. The pool are has also been remodeled and a nice space to relax during your stay & take a dip. Breakfast was included and pretty good, choice of cooked to order or help yourself from the selection of cooked items and an assortment of fruits bread and pastries. Service was excellent, everyone was helpful and friendly. I would not hesitate to stay here again when next in the area.

There was no safe in the room Not very soundproof. It sounded like the Indie 500 at night with super loud cars racing on the street and people screaming.

On the outside, front entrance, and lobby everything is in a nice clean well maintained state. The employees were very friendly and helpful as well. The elevator is rough, it needs some Rust-Oleum, lol, or maybe some new wallpaper, idk. The rooms seemed clean, but the showers needed tiles, wallpaper, sealant, and our shower knob connection at the wall was too big and not sealed which likely has mold inside the walls. Okay if you are just sleeping, but I'd find another place if in the area again.
