"Great place to stay with super friendly staff :)"

Really greatt place to stay and really cosy and comfy rooms. Excellent service and super friendly staff with some of the best food for breakfast, lunch and supper although only real niggle is the expensive surcharge of R280 for children aged 6 years old to just eat breakfast with us a family.

It was a most relaxing stay and really impressed with the caring staff and service. We did not enjoy the Spier wines but the food at breakfast and dinner at the main restaurant was excellent.

"The most friendly staff"

Apart from a very good stay on all fronts, the overall impression and where compliments are due to the hotel and management are that Spier has the most friendly staff across every level and discipline I have ever experienced. This alone is enough to make a multitude of return visits a must! Compliments to all.

"Great hotel for families. "

We had a short weekend stay with my wife and 4 year old daughter. The rooms were very large and clean, opening to a courtyard with grass and a small pool that just a few rooms shared. There is a large pool near the restaurant as well. The staff was supper nice, and the grounds are beautiful with large eras to play and explore. SeverL restaurants to choose from. We had a nice picnic under beautiful trees for lunch. You can buy our picnic food at the deli on the hotel grounds. Overall it was great. The bathrooms in the rooms can use an update, but they are still ok.

"Facilities galore, excellent service"

Stayed here for 2 nights as a family with 2 young children, used the restaurant, pool, did wine tasting, went to eagle encounters. Great to have everything on site and service was excellent. Suite was huge. Rooms are a little run down which is my only criticism, they could use a makeover.
