"Nice, but noisy while refurbishing"

Hotel is okay, staff is good and amenities are above average. Best things were: 1) Spier offer all in one (Hotel, Spa, Restaurant, attractions, Wine tasting & farm experiences,....) & 2) the kids care area is greate (Precious). What didn’t work? They are refurbishing some areas and awoke us up early morning 2 days in a roll (hammering and knocking), nothing was done till third day, then we lost 2 mornings of our stay. Management did nothing till the third day.

"Fabulous mix of art and calm!"

I travel a LOT, and am not sure I've ever been keen to give a review. But this hotel provides pretty much everything, so wanted to share a few thoughts. Amazing breakfast. Superb childcare facilities (included!!!). Very pleasant staff. Beautiful surroundings (complete with 5k and 10k running trail). Inspirational art in every single common area. Care for the environment, with recycling and top-notch water savings measures, which are critical in drought-stricken Cape Town. 15 minutes drive to the airport. Close enough to Cape Town for easy day trips. Super all around--tough the bathrooms could be updated a bit.... We had a great five days there with our two toddlers! Many thanks--and we'll be back!
