Hotel SLC

Our room was spacious when compared to others I've experienced. Staff was unfailingly kind and helpful.

Breakfast was good but no waffle maker. The hotel foyer needs updating. It isn't inviting at all. Boxes were even stacked in one corner. The name "Hotel SLC" seems like an attempt to hide the establishment's real identity. I'm still wondering what its real name is!

The office person put us in a good location that allowed easy access to the breakfast room. The room felt spacious with a couch for lounging. The breakfast was one of the better ones we've had in a SLC hotel.

Overall the room seemed out-dated. There were no usb-c outlets and, at first, I thought we'd have to scrounge around for access to places for charging phones, etc. In daylight I discovered more on the desk. No fridge or microwave but the room is priced to reflect that.

It was in a c convenient location, which helped us with our trip. There was a drink bar for coffee and tea. 24 hours which was nice.

I requested the third floor as my husband is a light sleeper and then come to find out the elevator did not work. Throughout the night other guests were slamming doors which would wake us up. Maybe have the doors where it doesn’t slam so loudly with padding??
