I booked months ago was charged at the time of booking. Disappointed that I was in the very last room farthest from the beach!

Room was still lovely, even though I thought we were getting the other room. Staff was always smiling and lovely as well. Sand and everything was well kept. Kids loved the swings on the beach.

1- I thought I booked the room with the table outside so a little disappointed there. (Someone is bound to fall through the deck, I’d find funds for a new deck) 2-There were 4 kid events listed a day but only one was available. We all were also clueless on where it was being held, wish that was noted. 3- I understand the easy booking with the buses coming in at night. But it was quite loud and didn’t think it was fair for them to close the coffee shop in the morning for them only when we paid 3k to be there and for us to have to drive 15 min out for a good cup of coffee.

We recently enjoyed a pleasant stay at the Riviera Beach Resort and are already looking forward to a 2026 visit . Even though our stay was in early October we did not encounter any late in the season wear and tear at the resort but rather a property which was wonderfully maintained and cared for . Unlike many other resorts on Cape Cod which require a long walk ,shuttle , bike or car ride to the beach the Riviera is a true beach front resort . The beach is truly your front yard with it's own private beach that is part of a continuous stretch of pristine beach along Nantucket Sound . The beachfront unobstructed views of the sunrise and sunset were beautiful . Our room was fresh ( no musty seaside smell ) , comfortable and immaculately clean . Equally important were all the good people at the Riviera who welcomed and looked after us with kindness and good nature throughout our stay . The front desk manager David Vasquez and staff Brian and Melissa were helpful and enthusiastic and always available to respond to any questions or requests . The hardworking and cheerful housekeepers Maria and Gloria were always one step with clean towels and daily necessities during their daily five star " touch and tidy " visits . All the ingredients for a great seaside vacation .

Everything was great with the exception of the bartender. The single worst bar experience of my life. Spilled two drinks on the bar in front of me, ignored myself and 7 or 8 others to focus on 1 couple at the bar. He kept his back to us and flat out ignored us. They include 20% in the check so they have no motivation to serve anyone. It took us over 20 minutes to get 1 drink for myself and a Shirley temple for my son.
