Club Wyndham Cypress Palms

We were booked to stay here for 14 days. Unfortunately on day 12, we saw a few really big cockroaches in our room so we checked out and changed hotels. The other downside was when we checked in, we felt pressured into attending an hour long meeting about (I assume) buying a timeshare or something to that effect. We had just landed and the lady would not take no for an answer, going so far as to tell us she "would not get paid" if we did not go. The location is great, really central for Disney and not too far from Universal Studios.

Kind of turned to feel like a timeshare booking rather than a hotel booking trying to sell appointments on check in

It felt likd I lived there. Full kitchen with personal laundry. Will definitely come back next vacation

Stayed here last year . Great site. Los of walkable dining and bar options.

Mice

Very convenient, very clean, affordable 2 bedroom suite for a family of 4 (or more), and quiet. Lots of nearby restaurants. Great hotel, best in a long time- will be back.

I originally thought this was a decent place to stay until I was called at 11 PM and told that my car was in two spots. I explained that my children had fallen asleep and I was by myself because my parents who had come with us had left earlier in the day to go back to their home. I did not feel comfortable, leaving my children alone, and knowing that the resort was nowhere near full and seeing that I was parked across the street from our unit where plenty of spots were available. I did not think this would be an issue, especially since technically we have two parking tags since my parents had also had one they told me no that they were going to tow my car so I had to wake my children up at 11 PM for absolutely no reason there is plenty of parking. The only reason I couldn’t park directly in front of my unit was because two spots are corded off with a The only reason I couldn’t park directly in front of my unit was because two spots are corded off with a blue blocker and a van is parked so close to the line that I knew my car would get dinged again which has happened three times since we’ve been here. Also don’t be fooled in the sales pitch. We also got trapped on that and nothing was as promised just a waste of time and gas because the place is 20 minutes away.

This resort, like many in the area, was an older property, but it has been refurbished and is in great shape. The staff here went out of their way to make sure everything was taken care of for us, and that we had everything we needed. The real surprise was the "restaurant row" that sits in front of resort. Chili's, Craker Barrel, UNO, and Krispy Kreme are all an easy walk. Across the very quiet street at the entrance are several other places like Aldi's, IHOP, Juan Valdez coffee, and a CVS. The rooms were very clean and the 1 bedroom Deluxe was spacious. I really loved this place.
