Mokara Hotel & Spa San Antonio

We really enjoyed stay, so convenient to river walk and restaurants. Everyone was so nice!

Excellent staff and service.

If you want great service. Do yourself a favor and book this hotel. I've traveled quite a bit in my life. This hotel is in my top 3 of best service I've ever received. Staff was glad to help. Even in the hotel restaurant the food was actually good. The pool is nice the room was nice. Overall I would gladly go stay again. It's location is perfect when staying on the riverwalk. My only grip would be the upgrade I received. I booked this hotel as part of the FHR program. I booked the basic room and was upgraded to a city view room. Really not an upgrade because the view was obstructed. But not a huge deal just something to consider.

Everyone was very friendly and the customer service was great. The room itself was very muggy and warm, even with the AC on 69. We asked for them to look at the room to see if that’s normal and I guess they did while we were gone, but nothing changed. So I’m not sure if the muggy wet stuffy feeling is normal for each room or if it was just ours. Otherwise it was a great stay and I can’t brag on the customer service enough.

This was our first time in San Antonio and if you need somewhere to stay this is the place. We were celebrating our anniversary plus a birthday and this place made us feel so special. We’re definitely coming back.

The only thing

Our stay got cut short as my son got sick. Unfortunately, we had to leave a day early. One would think that the manager would approve a refund for the one night that we did not stay at the hotel, but that was not the case. Instead, manager Christopher Blaha lied and said he would refund us, but in the end, that was just a lie to get me off the phone. VERY bad business Chirs. Me and my family travel all the time. I can assure you, we wont ever be staying at a Mokara Hotel ever again.

My husband an I were impressed with the level of service we received as well as the cleanliness and helpfulness of all the staff members! Excellent location on the Riverwalk!

Central location good spa

10 out of 10 of experience from pre-arrival to the moment we left. The staff were very helpful and attentive to our needs from valet, to housekeeping to front desk. They helped make our first anniversary very special and memorable. Hands down the best stay we’ve ever had anywhere, I mean they were good even down to the little details. HIGHLY recommend. We will definitely be back.
