Van der Valk De Gouden Leeuw

This hotel is impressive, I just wish I had more time to check it out. It was not very busy when I was there so I got a free upgrade to a comfort room. The room was big, impeccably clean and looking very modern and stylish. Big work desk. Only slight inconvenient was that it was actually in another building on the other side of the street from the main hotel. Food at the restaurant was delicious, took them 10 minutes to notice I was at a table (they had no one assigning tables), but after that service was fast and well timed. There are lots of sports and leisure activities, Gym in the main building as well as in the adjacent building. Pity there was really not much going on near the hotel in terms of entertainment. Will definitely go back if I have to work around there again.

Lovely quiet hotel. Interior design of my room was brilliant, very modern. Woth the low price I paid (£137 for 2 nights. 1 room for 3 adults) I would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Hotel is a little run down and could do with some TLC.

Lovely place surrounded by a area with rare animals to be seen like kangooroos, very nice for children. Room very clean and luxurious as well as the bathroom. Cleaning service very efficient. Overall a very satisfactory experience.

Functional rooms at a good price. The only remark I will make is that the beds were not made very well and the hot water was very very hot but overall our stay was fine and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Van der Valk Hotels are just the best for either a short or a longer stay.They provide the guest with a fantastic service; at the "balie" staff was very helpful, printed out requests and were ever so friendly. Dinner a la carte a bit pricey but tasty, so no complains. Breakfast something for everybody with a great variety and with self service happy faces all around! My complements and thanks for having me and I will certainly return one day.

Must go, brilliant hotel will be going again!!

We stayed overnight and we asked for a cot beforehand. Got a bed and then had to pay 5 Euros for a cot. Hotel was fine but they had building work going on outside early in the morning.

We had a very pleasent stay at this hotel. The restaurants offer a good choice of meals at a reasonable price.
