Decameron Cartagena - All Inclusive

⭐️⭐️⭐️☆☆ Decameron Cartagena is an all-inclusive resort that definitely has a lot of potential and many things to enjoy. The facilities were very clean, the staff members were kind, and most importantly, we felt safe during our stay. The people were welcoming and pleasant throughout the resort. Unfortunately, the check-in experience was extremely disappointing. After handing over our passports to the customer service agent, we were told to sit in the crowded lobby and wait. The lobby was full of other guests and people checking in, it was very hot, and we waited approximately an hour and a half before getting our room. During that time, we were not offered water, snacks, or any type of refreshment. When we asked about getting food, we were told we had to complete the check-in process first. After repeatedly going back to the desk to ask about the delay, they finally allowed us to get something to eat. Another issue was the air conditioner in our room. It was not blowing cold air, and although we reported it to both housekeeping and the front desk, the issue was never resolved during our stay. Overall, the resort itself is nice, clean, and in a great location, but improvements in guest comfort during check-in and room maintenance would make the experience much better.

El aire acondicionado sonaba muy fuerte. Se solicitó el cambio de habitación, pero nunca se realizó. Adicionalmente, el equipo del aire acondicionado expulsaba aire caliente. Nos proporcionaron un ventilador, pero no fue suficiente.

The staff was friendly, the food was good, the hotel was clean.

I know it’s a public beach, yet, there should be more security since the vendors stole from us. I also didn’t like all the vendors waiting at the corner of the property. I felt a little attacked and pressured to buy from them. The elevators were a bit slow, and the girl that took our order when we checked in didn’t make the dinner reservations for us, she got all our information wrong. I wasn’t offered an insurance for emergencies which I did end up having. Bartenders were not friendly at all, or at least not smiling.

La atención del personal. Victor del restaurante, genial! Es una persona valiosa para Decameron. Aseo y ropa de cama muy bien.

Las instalaciones muy deterioradas. Deberían abrir la discoteca más temprano. Los chicos de la piscina que sirven los tragos y cocteles muy formales, pero cada uno prepara los cócteles diferentes, diferentes medidas de trago, sugiero capacitación continua para un servicio estandarizado. La entrega de los fichas para la carpa es muy demorada, la fila dura unos 45 minutos, identifique que la demora es porque lo hace una sola persona y y a cada uno da la misma información.

El trato del personal excelente dispuesto a atender todas nuestras inquietudes

En general está bien, dicen tener parqueo pero no!! Me tocó buscar parqueo por mi cuenta

No hay parqueo y ellos lo ofrecen en el anuncio
