Heart of Nantes. Beautiful property but wish they had a pool and hottub

This hotel is centrally located on a pedestrian street (--so transportation will drop you off and pick you up nearby but with a little walk). The breakfast in the hotel is abundant and varied. But we were puzzled by the high ratings. The room was quite spartan, with a super-firm mattress with one pillow per person only (none in closets). The shower was large and comfy, but had no shelf or other space to put down the conditioner amenity. The toilet paper was a small amount from our arrival, and then not replaced during cleaning even once we were down to the smaller part of a role--we were rationing squares! We were bothered by the modern replicas on the staircase (plugged in from the back) of black men holding lanterns--why buy newer representations of black servitude?! Strangely enough, the wifi password began with the word "Slimy." Overall, it was perfectly adequate, but we were not able to figure out the basis for "9,5" ratings. The climate control was excellent in the room.

Lovely place to stay! Entrance is amazing, rooms are good. Nantes is a very nice city. Good restaurants

As promised this Hotel is in a great location, the downside of that is lots of noise as almost all rooms overlook the main pedestrian area, shops, restaurants, bars, my room faced an Irish pub where the noise/drinking went on to the early hours so don’t think about opening the windows. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful, Hotel is clean but the furnishings have seen better days. Booked a “superior “ room which was ok but nothing special, bed was uncomfortably soft and the pillows (nasty) were as old as the hotel itself. Breakfast had limited choice of mainly cheap foodstuffs. Overall the Hotel serves its purpose -City centre- but wouldn’t consider it 4 star accommodation.

Great hotel location is perfect and staff and service was great

We had a very spacious Superior room with comfortable beds ; a separate W.C. and bathroom and ample storage space. A second pillow was delivered immediately at my request . Plenty of choice at breakfast . Bar well-stocked and roomy. The reception staff were all extremely friendly and willing to help. The situation is ideal for access to the town and in a pleasant area. No issues, Cannot fault it

I have never been to a hotel where the staff were so friendly and helpful. This was a very nice place to stay for families, with the central location perfect to many attractions in Nantes. Be sure to book the popular restaurants nearby, which the front desk staff will happily call for you and make a reservation in French. I cannot repeat enough how amazing the staff at this hotel were. Highly recommend!

The hotel is right smack in the middle of the shopping district in Nantes which is very convenient. It has a rich history which I like. Since mine is a business trip, the lack of a proper work space is a hindrance but it does help me to rest more since I am from South East Asia. The room is spacious and clean. The coffee machine has 6 coffee pods and 2 tea bags which is a god send but these is no electric pot to boil water. The thing I most dislike is 2 flat square pillows. These did not offer any kind of support that my neck needs. The 2nd is the breakfast buffet which is not fantatstic for 20 euros. Otherwise, it is really a cool hotel.

The hotel was in an excellent location and the staff were very welcoming. The rooms are very spacious and clean.
