Residence Inn Columbus

This hotel was very accommodating!!! Chris at the front desk was Fantastic!!!!! We truly enjoyed our stay and everything was extremely clean. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a smile. Chris put us in the best of moods because of his attitude. the whole staff was amazing. thank you very much for taking such great care of us

The hospitality is thick. Great room-very spacious and with all the extras to make you feel at home. Pet-friendly. Clean and comfortable. Used the wifi to stream movies without any issues. Noticed the fancy TVs let you use Netflix and such too. Awesome place to stay near the shopping and dining.

We got there later in the night and we got introduced with some nice people. We where staying really short time but our room was set up for us like we where their for almost a month. The morning breakfast was good too. Over all great experience.

My wife and 12-year old son recently visited Columbus, Georgia to watch the US International Softball Cup and stayed at the Residence Inn. We were glad we did. As a family that travels a lot, we value hotels that are clean, well-maintained and have a great and friendly staff. We were glad we stayed at the Residence Inn. The staff were extremely polite, courteous and friendly. Our rooms were very clean. The pool was nice and the breakfast was great. We also enjoyed using the fitness facility as well. I strongly recommend the Residence Inn at Columbus, Georgia. Great hotel with good value and great people.

This is not a new hotel but it is spotless and well kept up. good location for restaurants and shopping. I have stayed here several times as a solo busines traveler and with my husband and we both enjoy it. The staff are always very pleasant and bend over backwards to be helpful and cheerful. I enjoy the social hour monday-wednesday when I am traveling by myself. Breakfasts are also good and are included.

Very happy with our experience at this hotel. The staff was friendly, warm and accommodating during our time with them. Our room was clean and serviced as was the entire hotel. The evening happy hour meal was good, but they didn’t have enough food to go around.

I am a loyal customer of the Residence Inn brand. I have stayed in more than 3 dozen of their hotels, so I think that I know the brand well. With that said... I give this location 2 stars total. One star because it was clean and the layout of the hotel and room made sense. The common areas were clean, the rooms were almost super clean, everything smell good, and everything was properly layed out. The other star goes for bedding. The beds at this location rock!!!! Pillows are great too. Terrific! Now, the bads... (1) Ultra tiny old ugly and almost useless "fitness center". It would be better to say that they do not have one and use that space for storage or maybe a sauna. (2) Check-in was a joke. I stood literally 18 minutes at the front desk before someone showed up. During that time I was listening to a story that this person was telling to another person about a friend of her. To my surprise, the storyteller was the one that did the check-in. She did apologize for the delay, though. (3) During my stay, I noticed that they have a motion-activated bell that chimes when someone walks by the front desk, but the sensor is not placed well. It will activate the bell when you walk by it from the right side of the front desk only. If you walk straight to the center or left side of the desk, it will not activate. Moving the sensor to the left a couple feet should do the trick, or install a more sensitive sensor. (4) Good options for breakfast, but when compared to other hotels of the chain, it felt short. (5) The tiny pool... Well, I think that this says it all. Btw, this is the second hotel of the chain that I have visited that has an outdoor pool. The others are in-doors and three or five times bigger than this one. The other hotel with the outdoor pool had one twice the size of this one. I general, my experience with this hotel was good, but based on my experiences with other hotels of the brand, this one felt way short. I felt like I was staying at a 1 star hotel that went above their rating. Regardless, I would stay here again, if necessary.

Friendly and professional staff. I only wish the pool was cleaner, the mattress on the fold out bed was replaced, and the t.v internet actually worked.

At first I was pleasantly surprised by how large our room was. Lots of space to spread out. It conveniently located by shopping and restaurants. That’s the good. The not so good is that property needs a bit of attention. There was mildew on the caulk in the shower. The mattress has seen better days. The sofa was stained and worn.For what we paid per night, this was not a good value.

The staff was was so friendly and nice, from the front desk to the cleaning personnel. We had a Great stay.
