Quality Inn East Stroudsburg - Poconos

The location was perfect to our final destination.

We arrived very late and it had a funny (old, moldy) smell. When we went to breakfast in the morning they had their hallway air diffusers on so it helped the smell.

Poor lighting in the room. Also a non working light assembly. Front desk notified

I've been going to this hotel for 22 years and the view is the greatest. The waffles are to die for. But, this time the clerk was rude and tried to charge me $120 for a $89 room. I had to go online to get the right price. Then when I went to the room he gave me the bed was messed up and there were cigarette ashes in the bathroom sink.

This was by far the worst experience I had at this hotel. I'll keep going though because it's the best value in the area and I know the owner. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt on this on time bad encounter.

Lots of construction but not the property’s fault

Even under construction place was good. I like to see mom and pop businesses… family was in full stride while hotel is under Reno Sabrina was wonderful and took excellent care of me and my family

We never ended up staying .

It was awful the smell was so bad of mold and mildew as well as unsanitary. It was disgusting very dark and dingy I opened the door and the smell just hits you right away in the lobby they try to mask the smell with cologne. We walked right out . The manager stated since we went through booking.com he could not give us our money back. Part of the wall is painted as if they were trying to cover up mold and I called booking .Com the same day waited over a hour for someone to answer the phone . I will be calling the health department , I will file a complaint with the better business bureau and I will not be using booking .Com again or referring it to anyone I know. I will also dispute the charge with my bank . No one should be subjected to sleeping in filth. I dont care what pictures they show you . The smell made me wabt to vomit I have asthma and allergies and I in no way could have spent one more minute there . I spoke with the Manager the next day again and he said he would try to get half the payment back no that is not okay I want a full refund . I had to ruin my trip in another state and had to pay for another hotel to have a clean place to stay that night .

Had dinner there, very good.
