GrandStay Hotel & Suites La Crosse

Great price (95) for a very nice stay. Clean, comfortable, great pillows. Breakfast was the typical diy waffles, yogurts, sausage/potatoes/eggs. (I'd love to see fruits other than apples/oranges sometime) But really, my only complaint would be that the pool was tiny. I was hoping for some exercise after driving all day, but it was very tight.

It was nice having 2 bedrooms. My wife and I were traveling with our daughter & husband. Very nice having separate rooms which was what we were looking for. Checking in was easy & pleasant. Even with the things I have listed below on what I didn't like, I would stay here again if I was in the same situation and couldn't find a bed & breakfast. They are not a deal breaker.

It is dated. It was a really weird layout. When you walk in the room, you walk into the "kitchen area" on the left and on the right was the bathroom. The way the door to the bathroom swung out, you couldn't walk past. Door swung very wide and it was a very tight space, this is the area to get to the bedrooms and living area. Super tight. The bedrooms are tiny, but worked fine. the living room was between the 2 bedrooms so that was nice. Our room was ADA (didn't request this). I'm not sure how someone in a wheel chair would maneuver. The bathroom was big, but didn't have a spot to set down your toiletries. There is a little shelf under the mirror that you could set your toothbrush on. Not sure how again someone in a wheel chair could use this. The shower is tiny with a bench. The four of us decided not to even try using the shower, as the bench took up the whole shower. I think it folded up, but again, shower was tiny.

Loved having a kitchen. Will remember that for future trips. The bed and pillows were so relaxing to sleep in. Will stay again when in the area.

The room was big and comfortable. Loved the kitchenette.
