USHave stayed at this site on numerous occasions. Very good location, close to Shopping center for groceries, restaurants, beach, etc. Plan on staying there this fall. Try to get there 2 times a year, however this year has been difficult because of Covid
Love the beach access and the gardens. We could hear the people walking above us, but generally very private and nice. We would stay there again!
This is my husband and I’s second trip to Castle Kiahuna bungalows and we love it. We would not stay anywhere else on the island! The resort has access to one of the best beaches for snorkelling, some light surfing, and swimming. We love not having to drive to get to the beach and the convenience of being able to borrow towels and beach items from the resort’s stand right on the lawn. The resort is pristine and beautiful, with grills to utilise throughout. We enjoyed our condo a updated with AC and an amazing ocean view. Some of the condo’s could do with some updating and some more comfortable features but you can’t beat the convenience, friendliness of the staff and the price! We will be back again!
Well-appointed apartment-like rooms. Clean and quaint. The little lanai was perfect for meals. Was advertised as having AC, but I never felt it kick on. We did better just leaving the louvered shades open. I loved the strip of beach and the available lounge chairs were perfect for relaxing while watching the sun set. The colorful orchids and hibiscus were gorgeous, as were the plumeria. This location was perfect for beginner snorkelers...a very short walk to poipu beach, and a 40 minute drive to Anini. Lots of colorful fish and small eels at poipu and sea turtles and eagle rays at Anini. Great for that morning high-tide!
The unit we stayed in was dated, but if you like that old Hawai'i feel it was fine. GREAT location for beach access.
The pool is across the road, so it's not close. The cleaning fee was unexpected for mid-vacation stay and was charged another cleaning fee on check out.
The sofa bed mattress was falling through the frame at the end of the bed, which was pretty uncomfortable for my son. We’d booked this place partly because it said it had daily housekeeping, but when we checked in, there was a piece of paper in with all the ads that housekeeping had a charge and had to be scheduled 24 hours in advance. I’d rejected other places because they were honest about housekeeping being an extra charge, so this was really disappointing.
