Great location, fun activities including pickle ball, shuffle board, basketball, and various table games to keep the whole crew busy. Our room was renovated and clean. Pools were well maintained and nice, just a little cool in the evenings in October to enjoy.

Saved by a broken water main. Only spent one night, but were able to cancel the remaining days with no penalty. Just an awful room. Cheap remodel, but still dated. Claustrophobic and smelled like an ashtray. Broken down bed with third world bed linens and pillows. Won’t trust TripAdvisor again. 4.5 stars, Marriott must be paying bots to write positive reviews.

Checked in yesterday to a room with an air purifier machine running full blast because of an unpleasant smell. Didn’t have time to complain as I had been traveling all day and had to get to dinner meeting. Got back from dinner ready to take a hot shower, but nope my private villa comes with no hot water! Called the desk and got no help. They told me we dont have anything for you. Fortunately I was able to check out and get into JW next door. Customer service at Villas was trash

The Marriott Vacation Clubs continue to disappoint. This one is no different. They are really intended for families. The rooms and facilities are clean but very basic. Room was large but resembled that of a basic Holiday Inn. The one thing that sent I over the top for me was the pool had a vending machine for towels. You felt that you were at a very down-scale resort. Also, when we checked in our TV in guest room did not work, no coffee filters and the safe did not operate. We were able to get filters and fix the coffee filter. We were only there three nights so we did not worry about the TV. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. Just know it is clean, a great place for kids and families but not for couples or adults. At least that is my two cents. Very basic.

Nice resort, very clean. Plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas the main pool is a nice temperature. Nice staff and very helpful. My only gripe on the first evening we went to the pool bar & grill I found them very unhelpful due to my dairy allergy I was told to wait & chef would be over to have a word, he never appeared so we left and therefore will not be eating there on this occasion very disappointed they were quite busy, but I’m sure a few minutes of the chefs time would not have caused the kitchen a problem!!

We stayed at the resort October 5-12, 2024. Upon checking in at 4pm, our unit was not yet available, the front desk associate apologized and offered us a very reasonable resort credit (even though our unit was eventually available 35 minutes later). The resort is completing a soft goods refresh. We were assigned one of the newly redone units. The furniture is beautiful, comfortable and the colors of the rug and walls are very soothing. Everything worked beautifully and we had a quiet room, with a partial golf view (3135). There is no shortage of daily fitness and fun activities offered by the resort for adults and children, including live music on Friday. The Desert Ridge shopping complex is .9 miles away and has at least 12 restaurants, shops (Total Wine, Albertson's, Target). Very convenient. One evening our water stopped working. We found out in the morning that it was a water main break (no fault of the resort's), impacting the entire property. Water was to be restored by 9 am, but the hotel manager went out early and bought out the jugs and bottles of water at the nearby grocery store. Water was delivered promptly in the morning. We went off to golf, but over the course of the day I was updated on the situation several times via text. Management arranged for portable toilet facilities (almost immediately) and offered complimentary donuts and then hot dogs and lemonade. Water was eventually restored around 3pm. Superb communication and response to something that was not their fault. Because of a sold-out lodging conference, we were not able to take advantage of the amenities at the JW Marriott next door. We did tour it on our departure morning and it is a gorgeous property with excellent amenities (even a water slide!). Thank you for a wonderful stay. We look forward to returning.
