Americas Best Value Inn Marshall

Room was clean, beds very comfortable, bathroom was very clean, the gentleman working the front desk gave us good service, but he was not friendly, nor was the lady that checked us out the next morning. Continental breakfast was minimal, hotel location is good. Good place to stay if you are wanting to visit your kids at college. It is an older motel. We had a 2 double bed /non smoking room. No complaints about the room. We had a good night sleep.

The hotel was booked 2 months in advance and they did not have the site available when I arrived. They did give me a king room for a discount and let me store some items in their freezer. This is an old hotel and very musty smelling. I would not stay here again, you get what you pay for!

The room was dirty, I found Capri Sun straw clear wrappers on the floor, a mirror on the wall had so much dirty film all over it, like it had not been cleaned with a clean rag in forever.

the flooring is cheap vinyl strips that are to look like wood, well we got to the room and it was raining outside and our shoes were wet, which makes for very slippery floors. My husband slipped and tweeked his back. We told the staff but they didnt seem to care at all. We had no soap or shampoo to take a shower. VERY VERY disapointed!!!

The owner was nice and helpful. The room was a little dirty. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast was awful - the coffee was really weak, what I thought was orange juice was Tang, there were a couple of packaged sweets (muffins and something else), two choices for cold cereal, and what looked like miniature biscuits with sausage.

My stay was overall good! I enjoy staying at Americas Best whenever I get a chance to attend events near any of them! 👍

Place needs a little upgrading, but it was an ok room for a cheap price.

When we 1st got there,half the lights were not working & TV remote was dead. Front desk wouldn’t answer the phone so I had to walk there for an exchange. The main glass door to our ‘section’ of the building was shattered & wouldn’t close (not secure from outside). There was dust INSIDE the AC unit which blew out each time it wheezed on. The room reeked of mildew or mustiness. All during the night about 45-60 minutes apart, wooden doors were slammed in the hallway. ALL during the night. No let up at all. Finally at 07:30 we gave up trying to sleep and left. Went & found another hotel, ate breakfast at IHOp & went to Jefferson, Tx for the day. That was the worst stay I have ever had in a hotel in ANY country I have been in.

The property was rundown, the bathroom facilities are in poor condition, the shower curtain had mold, and the room's carpet was not well vacuumed (bits of dried food were found on the carpet). This is one of 13 motels withing half a mile of this interstate intersection and I am hoping it is the worst.

Nice stay for the price but may need to update their ac units soon. It took a little while for the room to cool. Granted I only stopped in to sleep a couple hours in between shifts and was there for about 4 hours totalz
