Americas Best Value Inn Marshall

I thought that with the coronavirus going on and all hotels would pay extra attention to cleaning. I literally had to clean my room before I could allow my children to come in. We were displaced due to the hurricane and one of my children is disabled. I had to climb two large flights of stairs carrying him. Someone also went to the front desk saying they were locked out of my room, luckily I was checking out.

It was hot on our room. I had to buy a box fan. No microwave, blow dryer or phone to be able to call at the front desk. Advertise Free breakfast but there was none. That was one of the factors of me choosing the site because I have children. I requested queen beds & was told at the time of check in they were queen size but they were full size.

Hotel is by far the worst that I have ever stayed in. I mean just horrible. Walls are dirty, looks like urine and lord knows what else was on it. Just horrible & nasty, I can’t even name it all. Just don’t go!

Very clean safe and close to food. I enjoyed my stay.

the rooms could be cleaner, TV updated and there actually be comforters on the bed

All conditions were excellent in the human form, but the building needs to be updated in the structure; exterior painting and caulking in bathroom.

Not much for breakfast, if your looking for cheap and not much than its alright

DEFINATLEY NOT WHAT THE PICTURES SHOW ONLINE! Nothing nice about the appearance inside or outside! No one was at the front desk upon arrival. Rang the bell mutliple times before they guy showed up about 5 minutes later to complete check in. No major problems with the room orher than water leaking on the floor from the toilet. Check out went the same as check in. No one at the front desk, rang bell several times, ended up just throwing the card on the counter and walking out. There are MANY other options for lodging in Marshall, TX......CHOOSE ONE OF THOSE!!!!

I was planning on doing a load of laundry but both the washer and dryer were "Out of Order". This is another motel that does not give4 you a paper listing of the TV channels. We requested one and they made a copy from file they had. Why couldn't that have been given at check in?
