The friendly staff and the cleanliness of the room.

Housekeeping to double check the linen is clean.

Was clean and comfortable, with good facilities.

Only issue, which was major, was that there was a fountain in the pool area which was left to run ALL night, making sleeping a real issue with the constant splashing noise.

Room was quiet and breakfast was good.

Not much room for car parking and had to park on the street

No restaurant, but the breakfast and the bar food were very nice.

There were plenty of sun loungers. The pool resembled a lagoon with water pouring in and lovely planting around it. Tons of palm trees and ferns - just gorgeous. Crystal clear water that wasn't overly chlorinated. The water was pretty chilly/fresh though - you kind of had to just fling yourself in and get used to the temperature! The room had a Nespresso machine which was great - plus kettle, toaster, plates, knives and forks and a microwave. We also took advantage of the BBQ facilities which were great.

There was a lot of building work going on. So if you were wanting a little mid-morning nap you might not be in luck. Over the weekend it was great, but weekdays my relaxing on a sunlounger was interrupted by drilling, sawing and hammering. Not completely ideal. The location is a little far out from the centre - about a 30min walk. But there are plentiful scooters.
