Eviston House Hotel

Great venue. Live music downstairs everynight at The Danny Mann. Lovely food and friendly service. Parking is a bit sketchy. Very tight spaces to get into and somewhat hard to find.

Too expensive for the quality of the room. The room was in poor repair and dated.

Great renovated bathrooms. Walls are quite thin so not much privacy and hallway traffic is audible.

Proximity to restaurants and pubs, all within 3 blocks, very nice The day before our departure, we requested a box breakfast to go because we needed to depart at 5:30am. The night porter did not know about the request, so nothing was waiting for us.

Perfect for weekend break for family and right in town

People were very nice and welcoming.

The location was perfect...right in the center of everything. The staff and bartenders were very helpful. Only complaint was the musty smell as we approached the 3rd floor.

Room was a LONG way from entrance with many turns and several steps. Hallways were very aged and slightly creaky. But room was updated, clean and comfortable. My only complaint was there was a bottom sheet and then a thick duvet. There was no option for a thin sheet and the weather was way too warm for the duvet. In fairness, it was unseasonably warm during my stay.
