Anchorage Inn and Suites

I did not end up staying. This place did not look or feel like your company promoted. I walked in and walked right out. Not safe for single woman to stay

Bed and pillows very hard. TV did not work. Lights in between beds did not work. Rolling chair was broken.

The "manager" greeted us at the door as we drove into the parking lot. He and another man, both dressed poorly, were smoking and obviously had been drinking. We learned that when we approached them and could smell them (about 4-4:30 in the afternoon). After checking in, we left for dinner and found a very nice place downtown. When we returned, the two were still out in the parking lot, same things going on as earlier). When I asked if I could park in front of the office, the "manager" said, "Oh, nice car (a new BMW), think I'll tell people it's mine." There didn't appear to be any traveling guests but the people we saw appeared to be living there. Much of the property had glass partitions around the hallway, were covered with brown paper so you couldn't see through. Very odd. We never felt safe there and could not get away soon enough. The room itself smelled and gave the impression of dirt and general unclean vibes. Also, the man told us we'd be charged $100 for incidentals but we'd get that back in 1-2 weeks. We NEVER spent a dime there and we've not received any refund. Leads me to believe Booking.com doesn't know a thing about this place.

This place is really run down. Ac was very noisy , shower had issues with water pressure and drain . The worst thing that prompted this bad review was the roach crawling across the pillow. We booked for two nights but left after only one night. The desk refused to refund my canceled second night.

Everything. Stay away from this place.
