Best Western Plus Lakeview Hotel

Breakfast, location, bar, design

There could be more detailed cleaning, vacuuming under the head board on the edge of the mattress (hair, debris, etc.). The floor edge of the shower needs detailing (I wiped off brown/red dirt). Given bed bug issues....detail matters. The bench in the breakfast room was too low for the tables...hard to get up from.

The location was perfect and the staff was so helpful. Majority of the other guests were very friendly. The hotel was clean from the outside to the inside. In a nutshell, this place was worth every dime.

Less pork options but more turkey/beef options would have been a complete satisfaction for us since we do not eat pork. The lemon water needs more lemons. Two lemons didn't provide the flavor desired. Waffles would be a nice plus, too.

Room door did not lock or latch when leaving the room and the staff and manager admitted to being aware of the issue and the room being rented in error. No other resolution offered. The room was clean but since we could not leave the room locked there was no option to do anything more than stay in the room both days we were there. Very sad we did not get to explore anything locally and staff did not appear to care. The only solution offered was to deadbolt the door while in the room so no one could get in but that only worked from inside so we had to have one of us in the room at all times

Breakfast was good, location slightly off the main road but easy to get to. People were friendly and room was excellent and bed was superb!!
