Econo Lodge Weatherford

The rooms are spacious. Better than the exterior indicates. Close to gas station and food.

Parking is tight. ( I suggest parking in back) Very nosey, you can hear the trucks coming and going from across the street. When we were about to leave, I opened my door and there was a plastic piece of some sort next to the door. I picked it up- one of the cleaning crew came running and said that it was there to stop the door for cleaning. This was odd because at the time we still had hours to check out and I had the do not disturb on the door. The man who came running up to me, was not friendly. The whole interaction seemed weird. Especially for two women traveling alone. It gave me an uneasiness.

Large vehicles and work equipment in parking lot forcing us to park in the fire zone. Staff just laughed, I doubt the fire marshall would laugh. No way could a piece of emergency equipment could have gotten close. Not even an ambulance.

I've stayed here 3 times, it's my stop traveling across Texas to rest for the night. Great location, staff is competent and nice, rooms are clean and comfortable.

Easy to access.

Had to ask for more towels when reservation was made for 4 people. Safety latch on door was broken. Bathroom needs to be remodeled. Toilet sounded like an explosion every time it was flushed. Refrigerator had old food in it.

Did not have breakfast. Location was ideal
