Le Royal Hotel - Beirut

Had a wonderful stay at Le Royal. Staff was very helpful. We had an upgrade to a room with a private pool for 8 rooms. Which was fantastic as l was traveling with my mum aged 87. So it was convenient for me to have a swim while she had the comfort of her room and l was close by. I would definitely come back again.

Comfortable & spacious rooms, clean, friendly staff. Breakfast is fantastic! Pools & amenities are well maintained. Very happy with our stay.

Reception desk, concierge,room services were excellent and well mannered. They make you feel at home.

I got to the hotel at 11 PM! After 2 hrs, noticed that the air conditioning unit did not work. The shower handle was broken! The staff was very responsive to my complaint and switched my room at 2 AM! For that kind of hotel, they should be checking these things before giving the room to people! After that, the stay was smooth!

Everything was great during our stay except for two things: 1- The noises outside our room in the hallway at a very early time of the morning (5:00am). People were going to their rooms with no regard at all to the time of the day it was or who heard them. Also management had given us a room adjacent to another room (a locked door separated us). No sound proofing walls helped in this regard. 2- Checkout took longer than at any hotel that we've ever been to. If you have a meeting or a plane to catch, make sure you checkout ahead of time because they had to manually and personally check the room so we were cleared to leave.
