Super 8 by Wyndham Devils Lake

Customer service really stood out: First we received a discounted rate. Second, when we had difficulties with our tv, we received assistance immediately. Third, upon leaving, a staff member went above and beyond by helping carry something to my vehicle !

Ok, well . . . the air freshener in the room was a little much. Also, the bathroom could have been cleaner. (hair !)

Enjoyed my stay always coming back

The location and the breakfast.

The room looked like it wasn’t clean the mirror had streaks and the toilet looked like it was used upon arrival.

The front desk staff were very friendly and accomodating. Arnold, on evening shift was exceptionally helpful and VERY hardworking - he was very busy doing renovation and repairs when not manning the desk. BUT, the great staff cannot compensate for the poor overall conditions. In December 2025, they were in the midst of renovations - pool was closed and some carpeting torn up. Hallways and rooms had very strong odour, possibly sale disinfectant. Hallway and room carpets were dingy and not clean. Breakfast was limited, waffles had a terrible taste, the crumpets (English muffins) also tasted off. Overall, it wasn't truly terrible - I would stay here again, but my wife would not.

Great staff and clean room

Stayed in room 259 on 9-16-25. The cable television was not operable upon check in and was not operable when I checked out. Contacted hotel rep, who looked into it and said that it was an ongoing problem, and he would correct it. He was a friendly, hardworking gentleman, but was the only hotel employee on duty. He was also working on this issue in other rooms and had to go to a hardware store for supplies. The room had no shower curtain. At the small breakfast there was a juice machine, however all juice selections dispensed only water. Could not located a representative to tell of this problem.

Wonderful staff. Friendly and helpful. Room was clean and bed+bedding very comfortable.

Dated, could use an update on decor.

Sabeena was an excellent host. Very outgoing, with a wonderful smile. Will always remember and compare with the multitude of hotels I stay at on my annual motorcycle trips.

The beds were clean and the sleeping area was clean but the bathroom was another story. There were small hairs left over the counter and in the tub and toilet. I felt like I needed to sanitize it b4 using it. We never did shower bc of the mold and general grime in the tub The advertised breakfast was unavailable. Not even coffee or juice bc the cupboards were locked and no supplies could be accessed
