Cigarettes smike smell in room and very dated

Room was safe, and bed was clean and comfy, no bugs in sight. Bathroom seemed renovated, plenty of hot water. Property was mostly quiet. Wifi was free though unsecured, and enough outlets for our needs. Small fridge and microwave worked great. Property was close to RIT for our needs.

No breakfast was provided, not even grab-n-go. I asked for more washcloths on my third day and the clean supply storage had only one threadbare washcloth in stock, so I got a face-towel instead. I was told the laundry had not been done. Room smelled faintly of stale cigarette smoke. Terrible colors in our room: puke-colored walls, burnt brown curtains, blood-red rug. Parking lot was very cracked with paving fallen into many holes. Some potholes were 2 feet wide and 5 inches deep! The random-looking lawn was overgrown and, even after someone tried to mow the area, it appeared as if they had run out of gas or money and left it half-undone. Whole sections of the cabins were empty and in disrepair; very often there was no attendant in the front office in the middle of the day - yet the supply garage was left open with overflowing bins of laundry. The whole place had a creepy Hotel California vibe - I will not return unless there is a full renovation and sparkling reviews. M-mhm.

Nothing. No breakfast, the sink moved, fan hanging from ceiling in bathroom.

Everything. Look above. I wouldn't stay again if offered a free night and dinner somewhere for two.

Worst hotel we have ever been in - Filthy, Broken counters in the bathrooms, unusable Microwave - Breakfast included - a granola bar - ha ha, stained, unmatching towels. Chipped paint on all the walls - stained gross bedside lamps. shall I go on......

Had hot water in a few seconds when tap was opened. Water pressure and consistant temperature was good in shower. Bed had about 6 pillows so easy to be comfortable. Had trouble with TV remote and staff switched out TV and remote for a working one quickly.

Microwave was old style with dial in minutes, so unable to be precise with timing. Property appears run down, (but interior was good).

The sheets were clean, HVAC worked, the mirror worked, the staff was polite and quick, there were no bugs, I checked. There were cups wrapped in plastic, the lights worked, it was a convenient location

Peeling paint in bathroom, and outside of building, All locks to interior hallways broken, tub dirty, HVAC unit dirty, Rug in room torn, not enough blankets, caulking around bathroom sink stained and cracked

This was one of the dirtiest hotels that I have ever been in. The pillow cases were yellow, there was a dead cockroach on the floor and it smelled as if someone was smoking in the non-smoking room that was reserved. I immediately checked out and I was only refunded 50% of the overnight stay. They should have refunded the entire amount in my opinion since we didn't stay there and it was filthy!

Someone cut down bushes but never removed the cuttings. The room had mold on the floor and the drain in the shower was clogged. I checked and there was s stick in the drain. When I pulled out the string there was a lot of stuff on it so it had been there for quite some time. Beneath that was hair on the drain. I did not remove that. A property can be dated but it needs to be clean and functional.
