Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Manchester Bedford

The staff is friendly, the hotel and rooms are clean. I'll stay here again. My experience this time was average. I prefer upper floor rooms for quiet since I live on the road 6 months a year and a light sleeper. I was placed on the second floor in a handicapped designed room next to a family that has young children and another room that had barking dogs. Reservations are always made weeks in advance and My wife always checks me in thru the app and calls the hotel to confirm the reservation and ask for a top floor room. She was told it's too late the "algorithm" picks the room and we have given him a upgrade. Well, I would suggest reading diamond members profiles before putting them in a handicapped room (with a fire place, and couch I never used) and near families and pets.

Loved the location, loved the breakfast, loved the bedding…..didn’t care for the “bait and switch” room images and description used by hotels.com at time of my booking! The pictures of the room I selected clearly showed a whirlpool bathtub, we were given a room with a standard tub. The hotel clerk simply accepted zero responsibility and passed the buck to the fact that we booked through hotels.com and it was there mixup. I specifically looked for a room with a whirlpool tub for my knees. I feel I paid more than I would have paid for a room with a standard bathtub. Everything else was fine.

The facility is under renovation so given that it is fairly clean. One of The elevators is out of order but we are okay with the stairs. The beds and pillows are terrible though.

Kopfkissen waren nicht frisch, es gab nur zwei Kleiderbügel im Schrank, Fenster konnten nicht geöffnet werden, Klimaanlage war sehr laut. Insgesamt: relativ abgewohntes Hotel

My reservation wasn't the correct bedding, it was supposed to be a king room, we got 2 queen. Also one of the elevators was broken and ice makers on 2 of the floors were broken.

We’ve stayed at better Hampton Inns. The room felt damp, wall paper beginning to peel and bed sheets so thin you could see through them. Bkfst was good.

What would be nice is a place to sit outdoors
