Kihei Surfside - Maui Condo & Home

Love this place! Will definitely be back. Only improvement I can even recommend is A/C 😊

The view out the lanai is idyllic! The grounds are perfect. It's a great location. The Unit 212 itself is old & dated. My only issue and I believe this is seasonal - no a/c, not even in bedroom. It was stifling. Even with all doors, fans & windows open which meant you could hear everything. I think I would stay at complex again, but during cooler season - cause that view is to die for!

The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Dan at the front desk went above and beyond in helping me rent a car, and gave great suggestions for things to do on the island.

No AC. 95 plus degrees, 100 percent humidity, no trade winds, stagnant air, sweltering, sweating, miserable week here. All windows and doors open all the time made no difference. I get they can't control the weather but to have no AC and not even a portable unit, come on. I bought fans at Walmart just to move the hot air. On Maui for 2 months but couldn't wait to leave this place. On positive notes, the setting is beautiful. The lawns and ocean views are a 10 out of 10.

We stayed in #113 unit. Earlier comments were not very favorable on this particular unit.. Since it was our first stay at Surfside, we thought it could be for the worst. To our delight, the unit was great! It was clean and comfortable. The unit was well stocked with things one might need in the kitchen, bath, and on the beach. WE were genuinely surprised of all the details that went into making us feel so welcomed. We could walk right out on the grass that felt like a green at a country club golf course. The setting was perfect for a relaxing stay. There is no doubt the next time we return, we will request Kihei Surfside. Our only complaint, although minor, is getting used to the sounds of the birds early in the morning. Other than that, a memorable first time stay that will have lasting memories. Many thanks, Mark

This was my second time staying at the Kihei Surfside Condos. I stay there because I love the location and the ability to watch the sunset daily from my room. Staying here is a bit of a crap-shoot however, as each unit is owned by different owners. Last year we had a third-floor unit. We arrived to a lovely gift basket and a clean condo. This year I was in an oceanfront first floor unit; convenient for accessing the pool and grassy area. However, it was not very clean and I spent a bit of time cleaning. Since it is Maui, there is no air conditioning and you manage the tradewinds to keep you cool, which also may mean listening to other guests at the pool or elevator. Regardless, I would definitely stay here again. I may just book through their website where I can see photos of the individual condos. And that's coming from a long-standing, loyal Hotels.com fan.

Comfortable,close to the beach,overall it was great

Excellent location, easy access to a beach, rentals

My dive buddy and I stayed here for a week. We had a one-bedroom condo with an ocean view. The location is idea and we were able to walk five minutes to the dive boat. Ocean view with daily sunset viewing was amazing. Full kitchen made it easy to prepare meals when we weren't enjoying the local scene. Our condo owners left us a wonderful welcome basket full of goodies. The only drawback was no air conditioning, and when the trade winds weren't blowing it was a bit warm. Complex itself was fairly quiet other than the fact that our unit overlooked the pool. Would definitely stay here again. Free wifi was a bonus.

This is our first time staying here and would definitely return.
