Kihei Surfside - Maui Condo & Home

Gorgeous yard and view. Close to beautiful beaches.

My family and I enjoyed our stay in this condo. It was a wonderful location right on the beach with super views from the lanai. The layout of the unit optimized the ocean views. This condo was well equipped for cooking and was better stocked than many we've rented. It is not a hotel, so no daily maid service, which suited us fine but may not suit everyone. The grounds were very pretty and well maintained, with shuffle board, bocce ball and croquet available. Although the Surfside is on a bit of rocky shoreline, steps away is a beautiful white sand beach. Wonderful place for a relaxing beach vacation.

Pleasantly surprised by this condo. I will never stay anywhere else when I visit Maui now. The Kihei Surfside is a perfect location, and our condo was lovely. Beautifully remodeled, comfortable beds and unbelievable view.

There is a problem with this hotel - all bedrooms face hotel parking lot and this is noisy. Some people departure for sightseeing or fishing very early, near 4 AM and arrive at midnight or later. They talk, moving their things from and to condo, opening and closing car doors, starting and stopping motors and this happens exactly near you bedroom window. Our condo was on second floor, so we could sleep peacefully only couple hours. It could be a solution to ask about 5 floor condo, but we are not sure… Except this issue, actually designed to have all condos with ocean view main room, location, beach, condo equipment was wonderful.

The Kihei Surfside is an excellent place to stay. My wife thought the bathrooms could use a little updating, but the views from our lanai were unbelievably beautiful! We would definitely stay there again and would recommend it most highly.

Had a wonderful time, very beautiful! Every room has a great view. Roll out sleeper was not the best, but bedroom bed was great. Enjoyed the morning and evening on the Lanai! Beach and everything very close! Was the best!!!

First room we got was not clean. We called the management and they could not have been nicer. They offered us another room and it was great. They even let us stay the whole day on the day we were supposed to check out due to our flight leaving late that evening. It was our third time at the Surfside and we will be back again.

We had a two bed two bath unit for three of us, which would have been able to handle up to six with the portable bed and couch. Much less expensive than renting two hotel rooms for the amount of space, plus the convenience of a full kitchen and grills outside.

Great location, easy access to fabulous beach and convenience of Kihei town. Wonderful views, oceanfront condos (closest units are lower end numbers 301,204, etc.). Well-kept , friendly complex. Very quiet in evening, everyone very respectful of quiet hours(after 9). We had to move out of our first condo on the second day due to plumbing fiasco. Was not as pleased with the first two units Maui condo and home (leasing company) referred us to. The third was nice and worked out fine. I wished after the hassle they would have shown us the nicest one to start with, but it worked out fine in the end. Great value, lovely location, true oceanfront (not across street).

This was our first time to Maui. I would say from other complexes in the area this is a nice middle class condo. It hasn't been updated in a while, but when you consider how much time you are spending in the room, it fits the need. The grounds and view from the room were great. It's nice to have the BBQ's to use, even though we ended only using it one night. We spoke with others that have being coming to this complex for years. If we return to Maui we would definitely use this condo complex again. Location wasn't an issue since we were out and about a lot the whole week. I would say this is a more quiet relaxed area, but I couldn't say what it is like in the height of the season. We went in September, which I think is a great time of year to go, if you are looking to beat the crowds.
