The cabin we stayed in very nice. It was rustic. The cabin was clean and warm (we stayed in the winter). The kitchenette had everything we needed for breakfast and heat up dinner. The only improvements that we would recommend is a new mattress, a thin (limited room) night stand by the bed for a CPAP, and some extra shelves in the bathroom. Overall, the cabin was quite nice.

Cabin was great!

We booked a cabin when we saw that the forecast was calling for EXTREMELY cold conditions. We were intending to van camp. We are so grateful for our stay at Castle Mountain Chalets. Laura and Mackay made our stay. They were so helpful and kind. Our van actually wouldn't start for a full day, but we had access to trails close and they pointed us in the right direction. Even with some frozen pipe issues (which were taken care of immediately), nothing could have tainted our stay in our warm cozy cabin. We definitely will be back. A perfect location between Banff and Lake Louise.

Beautiful and cozy, very clean, very warm (despite extreme cold outside), and staff were excellent. The bed wasn't the comfiest thing we've slept on, but I think you also have to manage your expectations a bit given the other plusses going on here.

Perfectly situated between Banff and Lake Louise, the cabins are quaint and nicely furnished. Kitchens are very well equipped. Easy parking at entrance to cabin. Firewood replenished daily. Would definitely return and would highly recommend to someone looking for something out of the way.

Stayed for the weekend with my husband. Wonderful, cozy, clean cabin with wood fire place. Did a little hike just across the road. You are provided plenty of wood, tons of dvd options to watch a film or two. Very nice people working the front desk. Highly recommended.
