Oheka Castle Hotel & Estate

The grounds and the building are absolutely spectacular. The rooms are getting very tired. When I stay at Oheka, I want an experience. I didn’t - and it didn’t- feel special at all. Hard to find outlets for the phone, the sound machine, etc. Furniture was pretty worn and it seemed like there was limited staff.

We had the best time attending a wedding reception at the castle. Our room was perfect.

There was no heat and they did not have another option. We had to use a space heater blower which was noisy and very dry air. They were going to not charge me, btw I had my family so we had 4 rooms and 3 of them did not have proper heat. We were offered additional blankets that were old and worn. It was a terrible experience and I would not recommend this hotel. We were stuck there without any service to resolve our situation. A the worst thing was it was Thanksgiving to be spent with our adult children and my grandson. It was not a place I would return to again or recommend.

Beautiful old world property! It felt like Europe! I would definitely stay again! Just a tip try to stay on the 3rd floor because it’s much nicer. We got upgraded because the what wasn’t working in our room on the fourth floor.

Beautiful and very clean

The property was historic and very beautiful. It was quiet and peaceful. The food in the restaurant was very good. Parking was convenient and free. The grounds were immaculate and we were able to walk all around and see the magnificent landscape.

Lovely setting; beautiful atmosphere…. Only problem; no coffee machine in room!! Also; no shower cap: too bad…..

One of a kind. Always worth it. Just missing room service and mini fridge
