"Excellent location but breakfast was disappointing."

The location is perfect for a stay in Salisbury. A perfect view of the cathedral across the river and meadows. A terrace with tables and sunshades are ideal to enjoy the views. The bedroom was reasonably comfortable and clean and the staff were welcoming.

The breakfast was not particularly good. It was all self service and the staff did not explain the procedure. We ate at 9.00 and the dishes were very depleted, with no eggs and no large plates. A request for scrambled eggs took a long time. So disappointing for the price.

Great location with lovely staff and fabulous breakfast

Rooms are small and the lack of rooms with super king beds meant we had to have a king bed. My husband is 6ft 2” so made for a cramped night. Bathroom tiles needed regrouting as most of the grout was missing. Could do with a coffee machine in the room

Easy to get to by car, plenty of free onsite parking, bar and terrace overlooking garden and river, room with view over the river, very helpful staff, very peaceful, easy walk into town but free minibus there and back if required.

We liked everything.

Easy access to city centre

Noisy due to wedding and not sure if we had access to the bar as it was consumed by the wedding. Surprised there was no resturant other than breakfast as I thought it was an hotel not a B and B
