The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

We got some drinks from the bar and sat outside,which was very peaceful, but the garden furniture left a lot to be desired, most of it was rotting away and felt like it was going to collapse.

I have stayed at this hotel many times as it suits my needs. Although the rooms do need some TKC, the room I had this time had been recently renovated which was a pleasant surprise.

Air conditioning would be nice since it was a heatwave when I stayed.

Just a short walk from the main town set back with spacious car park and outside seating area. A very grand looking hotel must of been fabulous in its day. Lift to all floors,nice bedroom with a good hospitality tray. Night time porter so you can leave your key and pick up after night out. Freindly staff ,Good value for money
