location, breakfast and staff were good

it was my wife's 60th birthday so it was very disappointing, the room was very tired and desperately needs TLC and updating as does most of the hotel, such a shame as the building itself is beautiful.

Great location, close to town centre and all amenities (steep walk back but don't mind that!!). Large, free car park a big bonus. Plentiful breakfast with loads of choice.

Location was fine within walking distance to town centre. Breakfast had a varied selection. Room was in need of updating. The staff were excellent in all areas of this hotel.

This is an old property in need of major refurbishment. Paintwork flaking in many areas and stains on the dining room ceiling.
