Hampton Inn Troy

Check in took a little while bc there was no one at the counter. Then our room was so damp our feet stayed wet and our clothes were wet in the am when we put on. Breakfast was good

There is a parking fee an extra $5 on top of what expedia says. The rooms definitely need an update.

The room was fine. The head management is a joke. Katie at the front desk was a life saver! If she’s checking you in, you’re in good hands!

First thing I reserved my room in advanced. I arrived to the city about 11:30 I called to make sure, my room was available. The young lady told me yes. I explained to her I will be arriving a few hours after check in time. (3:00pm) She said that was fine. I arrived approximately 6:30 just to told I didn't have a room. And that "there are other hotels in Troy for me to stay." I started questioning the young lady and told her what i was told earlier that day. She told me there was a hotel NEXT door I could check there. I asked to call to see if they had availability. When she hung up she said yes they have a room for me. I asked to speak to her supervisor, manager someone. I asked for her supervisors name & number several times. (Of course she would change the subject). The best excuse she could give me was; the housekeeping staff left early today. What the hell that got to do with me!! She all ofva sudden found me a room, that was EXTREMELY nasty. The bed squeaked, the room did not smell clean, the toilet was not level so it rocked, pubic hair was on it, and ceiling have mold or shirt on it. The entire bathroom was awful. The tub, I wouldn't put my dog in that. I slept in my clothes, with my luggage zipped. Breakfast, hello no i didn't eat. How does your food area have a rating of 89!! Guess what, when leaving the maintenance man had to open it with his hands. The young lady working night shift said; she's been open the doors manually ALL NIGHT! WHY? IT WAS BROKE, OFF TRACK! Thank God I missed the the staying a few weeks ago when the elevator was broken!! They have the nerve to charge a few dollars more to secure your property (belongings) & safety. Safe from who......THEM!! You got to do better.

This was the WORST experience I have had at a hotel we have ever stayed! We were staying the night before we were dropping our kids at college . We get there and the front desk says I’m sorry I don’t have a room for you . We were tired, nervous, hungry , and many more emotions . The reason the housekeepers left before the rooms were clean . The front desk called the manager still no room so we had to leave with multiple cars with it loaded to the max because we have twins going to Troy and it was already 7:30pm and go look for another room. We found one at homes to suite for more money because all others were full . I will also mention that I went to the restroom in lobby disgusting and our friends stayed there and the elevator was broken . Do not stay here !

Pool was filthy. Room smelled moldy

Did not have a functioning elevator and therefore did not stay there Had to find another hotel to stay at for that evening.

The breakfast was good and offered good choices. Would like to see more fresh fruit. The staff was courteous and helpful. She kept the breakfast bar and condiments stocked.

The elevator was out of order. Had to climb 3 flights of stairs with baggage and a small infant. the room smelled musty or dank. The furniture in room 325 had damage and, in the lobby the tabletop chairs seemed worn. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable.

Elevator out of service. According to staff, second time!
