Aqualuna Beach Resort

A great location but a bit outdated. Definitely not 4 star. Unit overdue for a refurbishment. No services on site. Rubbish around the resort.

The view was nice. If you stood in the right place and could open the rusted screen door.

Blood stains on the carpet, Absolutely Everything was sticky. The room I saw in the pictures was nothing like the room I stayed in. I specifically searched for a single floor room, had to fight my toddler all night to stop him falling down the stairs as we got a double story room. The lights didn’t work in most areas including the stair well. The bath was filthy. One ply toilet paper should be a crime in general. The restaurant and reception are completely 100% non existent. We had to call the people to find what room as they ‘forgot’ to email/text me the details. Overall just a horrible place. Oh and the random screaming match late at night from whomever it was, scared my son.

They are a contactless resort. One toilet would not work and when we texted the property they did not fix it during our stay, so the kids had to use our ensuite to toilet and their toilet had urine left in it the entire stay as the toilet would not flush. The spa did not work. The lounge was dirty with stains that had not even been attempted to be cleaned.

Lovely and clean and comfortable. It was a quick overnight stay, well done 😊

Main areas were cleaned however the attention to detail, bath tiles, corners etc had mold or dirt. Kitchen tap was extremely old and poor condition. 2 speeds, off or flatout.

The apartment was good. It had two full bathrooms and a washing machine dryer.

The bathroom was dirty. Grout was very dirty and we killed two cockroaches in the bathroom at night. The beach access was flooded due to rain the night before so we had to drive to another beach. Towels had stains on it too
