I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sol Azur Beach & Congress in Hammamet, Tunisia, and I am thrilled to share my wonderful experience. This hotel truly exceeded my expectations in every way. First and foremost, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the staff. They were exceptionally friendly and dedicated, ensuring that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their unwavering smiles and willingness to help, regardless of the situation, made us feel incredibly welcome. A special mention goes to Dorsaf, the Customer Relations Manager. Her personalized and authentic approach made a significant difference, adding a unique touch to our stay. Sami also deserves recognition for his dedication and the extra effort he put into making our visit special. The hotel's location is superb—conveniently close to downtown, just a 5-minute taxi ride or a lovely 20-minute walk away. This allows easy access to local stores, restaurants, and charming spots around the area. The beach at Sol Azur is simply amazing. We had the chance to stay in a suite facing the beach, and waking up to that breathtaking view was a highlight of our stay. The tranquility and beauty of the beach enhanced our overall experience. Sol Azur Beach & Congress offers a fantastic stay with its stunning location, excellent dining, and attentive staff. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hammamet. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so memorable!

J'ai séjourné en famille à l'hôtel Sol Azur en Juillet 2022, Août 2023 et Juillet 2024. Je suis très satisfait par la prestation de cet hôtel. J'ai recommandé cet hôtel à des proches qui ont séjourné et qui ont vraiment apprécié. L'accueil est au top et le personnel est accueillant et serviable. La restauration est au top, la piscine est excellente et l'animation est de bonne qualité. Les chambres sont respectables et bien aménagées. Le personnel est très réactif à chaque réclamation. Comme exemple, je suis descendu à la réception pour réclamer du papier toilette. Après quelques minutes, je suis revenu à la chambre et à ma surprise générale, le papier toilette a été mis à sa place. C'est impressionnant la réactivité du personnel. Je pense que c'est un des meilleurs hôtels de la Tunisie dans sa catégorie. Si la qualité de service est à ce niveau, c'est parce qu'il y a du personnel de haut niveau. Au top management, on trouve Madame Dorsaf, Manager de la relation client. C'est une personne hors norme et elle se trouve partout pour satisfaire les clients et tenir compte des souhaits des uns et des autres et des réclamations. C'est une personne magique qui trouve des solutions à tous. Je suis resté perplexe par le travail énorme et efficace de Madame Dorsaf. Au niveau de la piscine, le responsable est Fethi, ce dernier fait un travail exceptionnel pour satisfaire les clients

"Avoid this place if you expect quality"

Staying at this hotel was a disastrous experience. The entire place is outdated and everything is broken. There were flies and cockroaches everywhere in the room and on the hotel floors. The staff, especially the waiters, were extremely unfriendly, often talking rudely and even fighting with each other in front of guests. No one asked if we wanted a drink; we had to go to the bar and pay cash only. The beach and pool areas were very limited, making it nearly impossible to find a sunbed. The staff constantly looked for tips in a shameful manner. After waiting two hours, we were given a room at 4 PM that had no balcony and four bunk beds, even though there were only two of us. The food was unacceptable, especially breakfast, where they served something that looked like cheese but seemed to be made from sand. On a positive note, the reception desk staff were nice and appeared to be the only ones trained in hospitality. I blame the management for the poor conditions. This hotel could be much better with its nice atmosphere, beach, and pool, but the service, staff, room condition, and food quality were all horrible.

Ensemble peu satisfaisant, la piscine extérieur est très bien. Néanmoins, il est indiqué sur le descriptif de l’hôtel qu’il avait bien une piscine intérieur. Surprise le personnel nous indique que la piscine intérieur est indisponible depuis dès mois. Ayant un bébé de 8 mois cette option faisait partie de nos critères. Par ailleurs, le système de climatisation ne fonctionnait pas dans la chambre. La nourriture au buffet est très moyenne. Le personnel pas très accueillant.

Nourriture très bonne et variée, personnel très agréable et à l'écoute, piscine et plage magnifique et propres,... On reviendra. Mention spéciale à la directrice de l'hôtel qui n'a pas hésité à renvoyer plusieurs groupes de jeunes footballeurs algériens très irrespectueux et à en plus fait un geste pour nous et les autres touristes s'étant manifestés. Merci beaucoup

"Horrible service for hotel who claims to be 4 star"

We had a stay in the Sol Azur Hotel Hammamet of 7 days, starting on the 13/04/2024. We made a reservation of a standard room with all inclusive. That weekend on the very same day, arrived a lot of Tunisian tourists to stay for the weekend, and the service of the hotel was terrible as they are not prepared to receive that many guests. The food during the weekend was not served on the main restaurant, except for lunch (which a lot of people had half pension, so at least for that meal and options were a little better), but for breakfast and dinner there were no other options then national food, which was cold and old. The guests who regularly frequent the hotel are very impolite, and the staff are not prepared to provide food and quality of service for all the people. For that weekend they barely had bread, no butter or even margarine, the milk was disolved with water to yield more, cold pre made omelets, and when the food ran out, they took a long time to replace it or didn’t even replace it at all. On Monday when most guests checked out of the hotel, they started doing all three meals on the main restaurant next to the pool. The problem was that with the food available for the guests, the workers and cooks consumed the food themselves at the guest’s expense. The only fresh bread for consumption, a lady cook would take it for her own consumption, and then when I asked if there’s more she claimed it had finished; it was still 7:30 a.m The cleaning very poor with leaks in toilet.
