Lovely atmosphere, quiet place to relax. Lovely decoration and options to sit and enjoy the outdoors. Staff was very accommodating also, and the buffet style breakfast served was wholesome. Parking was available to book at an extra charge across the street which came in handy.

Great spot in the Mission, cozy and beautiful building and the breakfast was really good too. Loved just how unique the place looks and will definitely stay there again when I'm back in town.

Nothing really. Saw some ants in my bathroom that would maybe be a little inconvenient if I had to stay longer though.

The old B&B style was very nicely maintained while having up-to-date restrooms and overall facilities. It is a unique atmosphere with friendly, helpful staff, and the breakfast spread was plentiful, attractive, and tasty. The garage parking was convenient if you’re able to reserve a spot through the hotel.

If you’re there during unusually warm weather for SF (like we were), it will be hot in your room because there is no air conditioning. A small fan was provided, but it was still very warm and stuffy at night, even with the window open. The street can be quite noisy late into the night. The parking garage is very tight; when they say you can only have a small car in there, they are not exaggerating. With a small hatchback, it was tricky to enter and exit the garage without hitting the side mirrors.

The charm of the property was exactly what we were hoping for. The breakfast buffet was exceptional with such a great selection. Just wonderful.

My husband and I experienced exceptional hospitality at The Inn San Francisco during two stays in September 2024. Marty, Evelyn and the entire team were wonderful. Our rooms were comfortable, the breakfasts were delicious and we enjoyed the beautiful back gardens and 360 degree views of San Francisco from the rooftop. A very special home away from home.

My husband and I have been staying at the Inn San Francisco for 15 years .... since our son moved to California's Mission District in 2009. Finding this authentic Victorian home converted into a warm, beautifully decorated, and meticulous B&B was such a welcomed surprise. We've spent numerous holidays at the Inn and consistently found them all tastefully decorated in the holiday spirit. We've probably stayed in almost every room (including the Garden Cottage) and found each has its own unique style. Breakfast offers multiple varieties of delicious offerings which never disappoint. Comfortable common area sitting rooms combined with soft, classical music provide a relaxing, almost zen-like environment for relaxing. The roof-top deck (spectacular 360-degree view) and the backyard garden with hot tub are outdoor areas not to miss. But most of all, it's Marty and his superior staff; especially, Evelyn, that make you feel welcomed and part of the family ... whether it's your first visit or you've been coming for 15 years! BTW, we've already made our reservations for Thanksgiving.
