Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Circleville by IHG

Put us in the wrong room. When we came back down and asked why we didn't get the King bed we had requested. They then moved us back down to our normal area we stay in. Next morning we went down for breakfast at 6am. Employee had not showed up, so all that was available was a few biscuits and gravy. No eggs. They finally did bring out sausage. Also, no coffee creamer was available. When we checked out we asked for a couple of waters which are normally complimentary. Not this time. They charged for them. The problem I had with this hotel is walking into our room it smelled like dirty mop water/urine. That put a bad taste in our mouths it is an easy problem to be fixed but seems like nothing smelled fresh and clean. Even the next morning my husband used the bathroom by the pool and said it also smelled that way I work in a hospital I know when they don’t change the water to clean rooms, it tends to smell this way which is gross! Just want to feel clean when paying $160 a night!

Walking distance from the hotel was great!

I had two rooms. My associate, in the other room, had to make three trips to the desk, from the third floor, to gain entry to the room. Their key card was not working. Their AC unit was loud. Their door did not properly shut. In my room the toilet ran all night. Both rooms had tubs that were very slippery.

Comfortable beds and friendly staff.

Cost was way too high for both the location and in Circleville OH

Needs a deep clean and repairs.

I liked how clean it was. The children liked the pool, but said it was really cold.

The temperature of the pool. Needs to be a bit warmer, especially on a weekend when my kids say it’s cold that means it’s really cold. I wouldn’t even get in. Breakfast was good, but the pancake dispenser was not working and it seemed like they were having a hard time keeping up with the food. Granted, I believe there may have only been one or two people working so that would happen if that is the case there’s no way one or two people could’ve kept up with that crowd.
