Chambery Inn

Too noisy in the room with strange mechanical noises and person upstairs walking loudly. The breakfast was not worthy of the price.

Beautiful and unique property with huge rooms. The fireplace was a terrific amenity! Easy walk to downtown shops and restaurants.

The Inn is quite inviting and the room was simply great. The set up of the room is excellent and the fireplace is wonderful. We had a wonderful time. Breakfast was very good (not great), but solid.

The Inn is very quaint, an old school house. It was very clean, and comfortable. Check in is contactless, and very easy. They even do breakfast by picnic basket in your room. The breakfast options are limited, which is understandable given the pandemic. I only met 1 inn keeper and she was very sweet. I highly recommend the Inn.

We had a great stay at Chambery Inn in Lee, MA. Our room was VERY clean and it was nicely decorated - it felt charming while not feeling old and dusty. The gas fireplace made for a lovely addition to the room also. Check in was easy and low contact, and the woman who checked us in and out was very friendly and helpful. The Inn is nicely located - right off main street with a few cute shops/restaurants and is very central to all you may want to do in the area. It is an old building, and with that comes the creeks of floors and pipes (what you'd expect at any B&B), but we didn't hear any of the other guests and our room was quiet and private. We didn't take advantage of breakfast, as it was modified for covid (we decided to explore the local cafes instead). We would definitely stay at the Chambery Inn again if in the area!

I had a disappointing stay, particularly given the price.... I was really excited because the communications were excellent! Unfortunately, my room was somewhat below grade, and viewed the driveway on one side, and the back/lot on the other. This meant that I had to keep the blinds closed the entire time. All sounds telescoped through the room from the upstairs and next door. Especially uncomfortable was when the adjacent room used their jacuzzi tub. At first I thought I was next to facilities/operations/utility room -- it was loud and my whole room vibrated the entire time. The breakfast card offered few options, and from those you were directed to choose even less ("Choose one," etc, not one from each limited category). No non- dairy or gluten free options, and warned that you might receive a $25 charge for this anemic meal. I got an egg and had to ask for salt and pepper. I appreciate this is a charming, older building, but reasonable (not wildly expensive) gracious improvements could be made that would make for a much more pleasant experience. Maybe staying upstairs is a better. I won't be returning, but the Inn has potential.

We stayed at the Chambery Inn about 10 years ago and found it absolutely delightful. We were not disappointed this time around! Even with COVID precautions, our stay was wonderful.
