I'm from Oahu and I've frequented Maui before. When comparing the costs and the quality, and I hate to say this, Maui definitely has that upper hand. Wailea Ekolu village and destinations has been nothing but helpful throughout our short stay in a neighbor island. Only needed to interact once with the front desk and after that, checkout is a breeze, if we had any questions, they were always prompt. Amenities were the best I have ever had traveling and had more than we expected. The entire area is beautiful and seems like we were in our own private residence away from the world. Near a foodland, Safeway, and multiple island famous restaurants that are a need to visit, so location is the definition of prime. I definitely will be booking again the next time I want to visit, and that's a promise.
A quiet and relaxing home for our one week stay. My only regret is that we were out and about so much that we didn’t spend much time there. It was nice to come back to a quiet home after a busy day. Loved the kitchen, the 3 balconies, and 2 bathrooms. Parking was easy,the view was great, and we never heard another voice.
The service at the front desk was great. The hotel is a little old, but clean and comfortable. the view is fantastic.
The condos are privately owned so each will be in a different condition Excellent service at the site management office. The development is beautifully lush and tropical and well maintained. Ours was very clean and pleasant enough, though one bedroom ac unit was not really functioning well. Kitchen, utensils and fridge was immaculately clean, which is a 'must' for us. Excellent restaurant nearby, in walking distance - Monkeypod Kitchen. Maui an expensive place generally, but condos offer much better value than the hotels, unless you have money to burn. We enjoyed the standard of comfort and the on-site support and cleanliness. Wifi was super-fast at over 100mbs download, but stability was a bit flaky, though usable. There is a free resort shuttle bus until 10pm which picks you from your condo door to local restaurants / bars and brings you back - tips appreciated. No hesitation recommending it.

This was our 2ND experience with Destination Residences and we couldn't have been happier. First we were greeted at the airport with orchid leis. When we arrived we were upgraded to a more luxurious condo. The view was spectacular. The grounds were as well maintained as the condo. We had it cleaned daily and the maids couldn't do enough. We will definitely stay here next year.
Good sized units. Well appointed, Comfortable beds. Good views toward ocean and sunsets. No roosters crowing at 4 am!
